Remaining Four Games

Eight games into the season, we have seen enough to be able to assess where we stand. Given our performance against Ohio State and what coach Rhule said about the mindset of the team, what do we think this team will do in the last four games of the season.

3-1, wins against ucla, usc and one of wiscy/iowa

the loss will be a typical head scratching flop where 2 of our 3 phases of the game will just no show

i hate Iowa but I really wanna get wiscy losing streak off our back

It's really a guess right now to me.  Feel strongly we will at least win 1 more but beyond that,  hard to predict.  I do feel we are capable of 9-3 but...

I honestly have no feel for how this team will play or fair the rest of the season, but I do think you'll see the best version of this team after they get that 6th win if it occurs.  The mental baggage this team is carrying is perhaps unparalleled.

I think we definitely beat UCLA this weekend and, as I said in another post, I’ll be curious to see what clinching a bowl does for the mentality of this team. We haven’t done that in almost a decade, and I could see players and coaches loosening up for the first time in a long time, knowing that benchmark has been reached. With that, maybe we win out. My brain tells me one or two losses the rest of the way though.

I mean, every team they play the rest of the way is pretty f#&%ing lame.

If we do that, it'll be the first season with fewer than 4 losses since 2003. That would be just incredible.
