Dana Holgorsen Hired as Offensive Coordinator

Incoming, people that are ultra concerned about $1.4M of not their money.
I don't care about spending that much money, I am the one that wants to go buy all the 5 stars possible.  Spend all the money necessary.  I simply question how Rhule possibly thought it was a good decision to pay someone with Satterfield's track record a top 10 national OC salary.  That is the problem here, the decision making and not the dollar amount paid to assistants.

He saw something in him that the rest of the teams he's been the OC for and other fans can't see.  He's been proven wrong and he's making an attempt to fix the situation, that's all I ask.  Still angry we bring in coaches like Satt and Foley and new coaches to be running a storied program like Nebraska and pay them huge sums to s#!t the bed.  This is not a starting job and learning on the fly, this is not KU/KSU.  Just my 2 cents.

Really hoping this change doesn’t negatively impact Dylan’s development. I’d like to think it will only help, but mid-year changes can be a big gamble. Let’s hope things are clicking already between the staff and players in executing a gameplan.
he's thrown just 1 TD to 6 picks.  I think the TD pass against UCLA was his 1st since 9/28.  Dude is in reverse.  No way this change doesn't help DR.

Interesting, though not surprising in the least. I'm slightly skeptical in what this may look like, at least this season. I mean, it's not like Holgo is gonna go out there and make a key block on the perimeter. Or not pull the trigger on a wide open first read.

But hey...about the only bar that's been raised a little offensively is we're not hemorrhaging turnovers at last year's rate

Just win, baby, GBR

So what are your feelings regarding White then?  Satt had a better overall resume coming in (more years as an OC), so if you're arguing Satt shouldn't have been hired then that would apply to White as well?  At least Rhule coached with Satt extensively.  He should have known exactly what he was getting.

This whole thing seems a bit gimmicky, maybe even desperate, IDK. I'm all for it If it gets us to a bowl game,  Once news like this pops up on my sports apps, I can just feel the eye rolls and the collective "HERE WE GO AGAIN" drama at NU.

I feel like the first games of the season  weren't as complicated, scheme-wise, and we looked pretty good. It seems like lesser teams can do everything we want to do with ease,  Indiana can rush the ball with ease in the BIG10, with lower level transfer talent, and their WR's seem to get open.

All I know is the Defense needs to show up as well these last few games, like they did at Ohio St and CU, otherwise it wont matter if we score 4 TD's
