Board is all sorts of broken at the moment...

IDK if this is what Guy is referring to, but there are tons of messages that say something like [No Message] and I think that's because they were embedded tweets.
 
A few things to note, that are not necessarily concerns:

  • Can we remove P&R topics from the Trending Content panel? I know P&R generates a lot of traffic, but it seems incongruent with the sports-related nature of the board
  • Are Status Updates coming back? They were a mixed blessing on the IP Board version of HB.
  • Does Xenforo have the option to let us see who's browsing the thread?

You just click on the thread title. The 'memory' of the board has been reset so the first time you do it'll take you to page 1, but once you read through it and are caught up every subsequent time will take you to the first unread post.

Any idea why this works only sometimes? One thread in P&R that I have recently read now takes me to the first new post. But I marked the whole woodshed forum as read and it is still taking me to page #1 on each subsequent visit. Doesn’t matter that I have actually read it.

And this very thread…I’ve read it and posted in it but each time I come back to it, it takes me to page 1.

Actually NVM. It isn’t working in any thread. All of them take me to page 1 no matter if I’ve read it, marked it as read or posted in it. Only way to the new posts is to scroll down to bottom of page 1 and hit the button that transports you to the last page of the thread.

Ah, I may have been too hasty.

It definitely works as I described if you're viewing threads via the 'new posts' page - https://www.huskerboard.com/whats-new/posts/ - which is the only way I've ever really navigated the board for the most part. It doesn't seem to work the same way navigating the site via the actual forums though.
