I’m sure that @Saunders will post most of the stuff but I was reading Phil Steele’s magazine and thought I’d share the Nebraska pages. With the transfer portal, he must be changing the projected lineups for teams everyday. Much more complicated than when he was doing it 10-15 years ago.

edit- Mods, If it’s not allowed to have the actually magazine pages in here please delete.

Nebraska

Odds to win conference: +3500

Best Case 11-1: After nearly 15 years of hoping Nebraska is back, Nebraska is finally back. Dylan Raiola takes a huge step forward in his sophomore season, playing so well that the world begins to wonder if Patrick Mahomes should start to mimic him instead. The transfers and incoming freshmen give the Huskers one of the best receiving corps in the league, and the loss of Tony White on defense isn't felt. Nebraska's only loss comes on the road to Penn State after a 10-0 start, and the Huskers make their first trip to the Big Ten Championship since 2012. The only downside is that after the season, Dana Holgorsen leaves to take the head coaching job at Oklahoma State.

Worst Case 5-7: Nebraska is not back. It turns out the 2024 season was a bit of a fluke, as the offense struggles because Dylan Raiola spends too much time watching Jackson Mahomes on TikTok and not enough time studying game film. A lack of explosive plays on offense and defense put the Huskers in too many difficult spots, and it all ends with a home loss to Iowa on Black Friday to keep the team from going to a bowl game. Dylan Raiola enters the transfer portal immediately. Matt Rhule enters 2026 firmly on the hot seat.

Cicny is going to be pretty lame. If you bet, give up the 6.5 and take NU big.

The only thing helping Cincy at all is a QB with some experience and one good DT.

Yeah Cincy projected to end around #11 in the Big 12 standings. But we still need to show up and finally put a full 3 phases game together. Who knows how long it’s been since we’ve done that.

It does make me happy seeing that most assume Colorado will end up worse than Cincy at #12 in the Big 12.

Yeah, Colorado could be really bad this year and I LOVE GT to spank them in the opener.

And while this game vs Cincy is not a true home game, it will be pretty freaking close.

I predicted a 1-11 season for PU last year.
I can see them being 3-9 at best this year.

Imagine being a student there and those are your first two years on campus.
1 - Purdue cares more about hoops than football.

2 - There are probably a lot of kids on campus that don't care about sports at all (they have 52k total including grad students).
