Michigan Game Preview

Meanwhile, Nebraska is #60 in rushing offense and #75 in rushing defense. And frankly, I think that's going to be the difference in this matchup...

Had no idea you felt this way. Have anything to do with the Cincinnati game? :ROFLMAO:

If it was a windy/rainy day, I think it would have a bigger impact. I'm banking on our offense to be more balanced, and our crowd causing some errors like they did in week 1. Huskers walk away with this game in the 4th because they force Michigan to pass in an effort to come from behind- which they will struggle to do against our secondary.

This game will be interesting to see if our defensive coaches sit someone because of match up issues. If MI lines up #1 (6'5") where are certain DB will have to guard him its gonna be trouble.

Might lead to a score but I Like MH to come up with a pick or two if they do that - that rookie QB will get rattled with the crowd noise and the disguised defenses we are going to throw at them.

Pretty obvious takes but what I see as most important,

Need high success rate in the red zone and 3rd down.

Hopefully the passing game opens up the run game or it’s gonna be a disappointing outcome.

Defense needs to keep it a one score game at the least and close door in the 4th.

Gotta win the turnover margin. If the offense is sloppy, then it’s going to be a blow out loss.

Special Teams needs to flip the field a few times.

Defense needs to hold drives to 3 point scoring drives. Giving up a touchdown or two won’t be a death nail but it will be hard to overcome 3 TD drives and a field goal or two.

Special teams needs to play special.

Oline needs to play the game of the year so far and give Dylan time to get to his second and third reads. If this happens, I’m pretty confident in the teams ability to score and win the game.

Gotta control the Michigan QB if they get in the red zone.

As Savage just said, winning the turnover battle or keeping it even is a must.

Man it just depends if the whole team shows up to play. I think the offense is better than last year and the defense besides two players on the D line is better. All 3 phases need to be clicking
