It is pretty much us or LSU. We are trying to get him to visit. This is one we need so, so badly. Nobody built like this on the roster.

In some ways, I can't wait until the regular season is over to get further explanation on this or to receive some additional tea leaves. There is a huge disconnect at this position on field and in recruiting.

We've struck out on the nose tackle types for years, especially in the transfer portal. A few space eaters in the middle of the line would do wonders for our defense. My only concern with Berymon would be the youth and likely need to re-recruit every offseason. That said, he would be a huge signing if he commits.

you're going to need to do this every year for any quality talent on your roster.

that being said I think this one is going to LSU.

Even if he commits, we need to find a few NT type guys in the portal. A true freshman isn't going to come in and be the player we need next year at this position.

The other option is if the guys we have can mature one more year and put in significant weight and strength.

They tried getting a couple NTs in the portal last year and struck out. The staff knows they need them, they just didn't get them for this year.
