Iowa - What Did We Learn

Iowa wins their Super Bowl and celebrates pretty much the identical season that Nebraska had… From Nebraska fans are mad and demands more… The last thing I want is a husker fantasy end up with a coach that ends up with the all-time most losses and conference history.

Basically what I’m saying is they need a different coach… Not because of this game but just because of everything. They suck at getting guys in the portal… They suck at winning games they should win… And we can’t get to the point where fans are all of a sudden happy with #WinningSeasons…LikeIowaFansAre
Huh.

I notice the "it takes time" fans are over it too.

Probably doesn't help that Cigs at IU, the worst P5 school in history, is killing it, again.

If Rhule is not on the phone TONIGHT to Cig's OC and DC, he is a fool
Key is Haines (DC) and Shananhan (OC) have been with him for years. Haines over a decade and Shanahan like 10. They have been a part of Cignetti's wins and multiple stops. Cig didn't bring a .500 record and his .500 staff....He was/is a proven winner and brought his winning staff with him. Rhule brought Satt (not his original choice for OC), Doogie Houser and other guys with little to no experience or guys who were part of his .500 record.....

Es loe que es...It is what it is. We are stuck with Rhule for the foreseeable future. Key for me is who does Rhule let go. Who does he bring in. Are they proven guys or buddy hires.....I'd say Joe Brady as OC/Asst HC, but seeing as how Rhule fired him that proably won't happen....Kidding not kidding. But him as an example. Will the new hires (if any) be solid guys. Guys with a solid resume and system that'll work in the B1G. I remember when Satt was hired, family and friends who were Gamecock fans were over joyed and apologetic. Saying he stunk.....It sucks. We are stuck....Just waiting for bowl picks now. Still can't believe how badly we got beat.

No EJ or Ekeler and the stadium would be on fire right now.
I remember the night this run of nonsense started. Back when CO stomped us.

Left the family gathering, and walked over to the local waterhole with some cousins.

There were some guys outside burning a husker jersey on the sidewalk.

I thought to myself...thats a little extreme.

If you had told me what was coming, I'd of thought you were a little loopy.

It’s worse than that. Got worked by Minnesota and Iowa (again).
Against the easiest schedule they've had in a decade and spending a metric ton of the Peeds money.

Matt Rhule us an embarrassment to football and should resign and save Nebraska 3 years of futility, but sadly, he won't because the leadership at Nebraska neurotically extended him before the difficult games because they are retarded when it comes to attempting to win football games.

I'm sorry, but when it comes to investment into the product, anybody who's played Madden more than twice could do better than these coaches. They are an active liability when it comes to winning football games. All we can do is hope they resign and save Nebraska the buyout money because it's obvious where Rhule is leading this pathetic attempt at "football". He's going to be fired in two years, everybody knows it. Rhule knows it. His staff knows it. Every player knows it. It's frustratingly obvious how embarrassing and inept they are.

Any person who's played Madden online is better than Dana but we have to act like he's a legit coach. It's beyond stupid how catastrophic these people are. They need to quit immediately and save themselves the personal embarrassment before getting fired.

At this point we have to let Rhule be what he is good at. Being a spokesperson for the program, doing podcasts, and going on McAfee. He’s not going anywhere and it would be very stupid with so many other teams in the market. So let him speak for the program but get the best coaches money can buy. I’d hire the OL guy from Penn State today. Any LSU coaches that can work here? I’ve heard Wilcox mentioned but not as familiar with his defensive prowess as I know him more as Cal head coach. We need coaches that develop players and get them in the league. Rhule is going to get them on campus but then these kids want to get to the NFL. We need coaches that have a track record for this.

There is so much to fix. The game is changing. Rhule can be your sales person but we need coaches and money to compete. And we need identity. We really Fd up not building the trenches but instead chased skill players. The foundation of your program is collapsing and a QB or WR is not going to fix it. And how we have not marketed the Blackshirts snd Lincoln as a destination for defensive players is criminal.
