Maybe I’m missing something, but Rhule’s initial hires didn’t work out for one reason or the other. Recent hires are promising on potential for sure. Some I still have questions about. I’d prefer Rhule to expand outside guys he’s coached with rather than a smaller circle. Appears he’s going that now. Kudos to him for that.

No not at all, and if you are talking about what I said it would be an implication not and inference. My point was that all of those hires I mentioned did not have a real connection to Rhule but people stay with that narrative since Bo was here that every coach wants to hire their buddies and that's the problem. Which is just a lazy take because people outside of Rhule's circle are hit or miss also and the coach we really wanted is one his "buddies".

Fair enough. I thought you were implying Rhule was doing/had done a stellar job picking coaches.

Regarding a DL coach I’d look at some FCS guys.
