Honest question? Why are some of you worried about the DL? Our DL was every bit as big as all the teams we played except Michigan and Minnesota. We are YOUNG and IMO lacked effort more then anything.

I think it's because the run defense was excruciatingly bad.

Why are some of you worried about the DL?

Because we couldn’t get a pass rush and lost multiple games because we couldn’t stop the run for s hit.

Put the tape on. What is it you like? Fine to have young guys that wil get better but we need some iron clad experience we can count on.

i really like how people are upset that we haven't signed (insert position here) yet today. do they not realize that the portal will be open for a long time and players are still declaring and entering the portal? just because we haven't got someone yet doesn't mean we aren't going to get someone for that spot sometime soon. but i guess we have to whine about how our coaches suck since they haven't done this or that yet.

FWIW....i think the guys we have signed so far look like good choices. obviously that is not certain but they look like good prospects IMO

DL is not a position of high depth in the portal. You’re gambling by not signing one of the higher rated guys off the jump. We can sign another George or Moore no issue. But we need 3 or so guys up front.

Nebraska had one of the worst defensive lines in big ten. Yes, scheme and youth had something to do with that. But the talent is average at best. We are not even close to competitive levels.

We will see. There will be second and third waves. But there are no guarantees.

What strikes me is how a lot of those first wave guys pretty much committed sight unseen without even visiting the school they're transferring to or anything.

Not to mention how many people here are effectively encouraging it and saying things still aren't moving fast enough...
