Hopefully in Nebraska it would be:

John Deere takes the snap, rolls way out to the Winston Windmill, cuts his Toro Lawn Cleats back to the left, finds LNK for an air bomb……it’s completed deliciously to Omaha Steak and the Cornhusker Inn with a great block to leave the door open for cigar at Jake’s, which has nice whiskey and smoke stacks on O Street hive five.

The age of crapitalism has delivered the promised paradise.

Doesn't mean much as far as the totals and it's only one example.

But QB1 being more than all the others combined is interesting.

I’m so confused by this. At the basic level, most universities are doing their own NIL now? Is that why 1890 dissolved?

Past that, now they can cut into their revenue share to provide NIL funds or fund scholarships?

Is it possible to remove scholarships all together and put a $50M cap. Then just let universities decide for themselves how to spend the money. Everyone will know what the cap is and if teams decide to spend all $50M, great. And some schools may decide to spend much less.
At least that way a school like N who could quite well spend $50M but only decides to spend $25M, we as fans will know where we’re at.

Are you talking just for football or all sports?

NIL is NOT the same as revenue sharing. Revenue sharing is a hard cap for all sports that are opted into. NIL is for “endorsements” compensation that is on top of revenue sharing income. All teams have to manage their roster under the Rev share cap. They can can go above the cap using NIL deals, but all NIL deals above $600 have to go through a separate review to determine if it is a legitimate deal and not just a straight payment by a booster. There are limited sources of NIL dollars, many schools are using their media rights to offer NIL deals which is why they brought it in house. Regardless it is 2 separate pools of money.

How much revenue share can an athlete at Nebraska expect? Is it an equal amount amoung athletes from a revenue share sport (football vs the basketballs vs volleyball) I assume they get scholarships too.

Out of the $20M pot, roughly $16M goes to football. Then about $3M goes to men's basketball. Volleyball is probably the next biggest share but I don't know how much. Then everything else.

So football players are definitely getting bigger checks (generally).
