With Nebraska having a successful season it shows upper tier recruits like AH that Fred Hoiberg can coach.

I think it's going to come to whether Lane Kiffin is willing to let him play both. To this point he's not. He thinks he can throw enough $ at Ahmad to make him forget all about basketball.

If he comes and plays both, he would get rev share from both, correct? Football wise we may not have to throw as much at him because of the basketball money.

In theory, yes. But I doubt he gets much of a BB check, at least at first. He wouldn't be joining the team until a third of the way through the season. And the history of guys trying to do both doesn't show a lot of production on the hard wood, even after they show up.

Let's just hope that Kiffin refuses to budge and Hudson ends up here. Then again Kiffin is the type that will lie and say, "Sure, you can play basketball" and then figure out a way to prevent it after he signs.

I think it’s unfortunate when a kid thinks he’s going to play both. He wouldn’t join the BB team till third of the season is gone. Then, let’s say husker BB continues to me great. This year, our spring game is the day of the elite 8 games. So, he would be missing all of spring ball for football.

Just seems like it prevents him to be as good as he could be at either sport.

That's fine. I'm believe he will eventually have to choose which one and he won't play both sports his entire college career. And, I'm fine with either one as long as it's as a Husker.

But...until he chooses, I believe his growth in either sport will be diminished.
