Osborne Greatest of All Time

They'll say Nebraskans are so bored they had all the time in the world to vote. Since it's too cold to be out on our tractors.

 
It might because no one really knew that there was a poll. Hell the guy that had to fix the poll didn't even know there was one until he got a complaint the information was wrong for Osborne.

How was the poll manipulated? Anyone who thinks an internet poll is scientific is sadly mistaken. It is a popularity poll where the person who gets the word out (or their supporters) wins.

TO's supporters got the word out better than any one else, he won.

 
If you are considered among the top 3 all time, then that's pretty damn good.

No questions, Osborne and Bear - those are the best.

My biased opinion agrees that TO was slightly better.

if you think that espn allowed multiple votes from one IP in a period under 24 hours... you would be wrong. they KNOW that husker fans vote like that. look at the tournament for the greatest college football team of all time... 71 and 95 huskers playing against each other in the championship.

Tom Osborne is a great coach. Anyone who says he doesn't deserve to have his name with this award is, well, I don't know what is wrong with you.
