I had an interesting conversation with my crew last night. I hang out with people who are half my age. I'm sorry but I find people my age to be boring. Anyway we were talking about fashion and specifically how to dress for specific occasions.

The big question is:

How many young men under the age of 33 know how to tie either a Windsor or half Windsor knot for their tie?

Gentlemen all, please help us decide, I have $1,000 night out bet with my crew, $250 per couple and it is you MY FRIENDS who will help us decide.

If you know how to tie either Knot answer yes, if not say no.

Man, the people your age must really be boring if you have to hang out with people arguing about knots.

However to answer your question, yes.

Its about being properly dressed for certain occasions. You are always welcome to spend time with us ISRP I gaurantee you won't be bored, I WON'T ALLOW IT.

31 and I've been wearing a tie for work everday for the nearly the past eight years, and have no idea how to do the full windsor. I', not sure on the half windsor, I just tie it...

 
Negative Ghost Rider. I can't tie any tie! I usually just wear collar shirts w/ no tie or a CLIP on!!!! How funny is that?!?!?!?

Nope. I wear a tie about once every two or three years. I usually have to look up how to tie it when the need arises(usually just weddings and funerals)

 
I can tie a tie but have no idea what knot I am using. It usually taking 10-15 minutes just to make it look right
