Qustion for Husker fans going to the game

:) I know this will sound weird but i was wondering how strick the stadium is on sneaking in alcohol. I have tried to ask my friends back home in texas but they tell me every stadium is different. I have always been a husker fan living in Aggieland which they drive me nuts but thats a different story. I know the stadium is alcohol free which most stadiums are but i know people sneak stuff in. I was wondering if you could tell me if they pat everyone down or if there are metal detectors or if you have any ideas on how to get it in i would like it alot. And i am not talking about bringing in a liquior store, just a couple of ounces for a drink or two sense it is a night game i dont want to lose my buzz. Thanks for your time. and go big red.

i pick Neb 38 VT 17

you could try a flask i would think. I have never been patted down but i also have never brought anything to the stadium.

Dang, I wouldn't try it . . . seeing the Huskers live and in person is way too important to risk, if you ask me.

Bring a little plastic bottle in your pocket and discretely dispense it into a soda and by all means don't say I told you this also WEAR RED BE LOUD GBR

I went to the USC and Okalahoma St game last year and for the OSU game I had to walk through a metal detector and have my pockets checked. That was the only one I seen in the entire stadium, just a random pick a person and check them type of thing.

I went in that same gate this year for the WMU game and didn't have any problem. I even carried a half full bottle of water in without them saying anything.

What happens if you get caught with it?? do they just take it or kick you out. If they kick you out it would not be worth it. :dunno

They don't check too closely. I am sure it'd be relatively easy to sneak something in.... Not that I've ever done it or anything

You shouldnt have anything to worry about, just dont be stupid. At last years ISU game i had a flask and just put it in my back jeans pocket. They just check your ticket and move along. No metal detectors or body cavity searches. Enjoy!

thank you for all of the answers. I think i am going to try to bring my flask in. Maybe i will just put it between the legs. Is there a certin gate i should go through? and do they sell coke or pepsi at the stadium. that will depend on what i bring.

Pepsi. Just buy a pint and carry that in (assuming they really had metal detectors at a game <_< )

you get kicked out from what i've seen.... depending what time you get there and how busy your gate is will depend how much attention they pay to you.... although last year a the ISU game a kid in the student section was drinking a bottle of corona.. yes, it the bottle.... idiot. Although, it was pretty funny to see the three state troopers and couple of security guys come up and rush our row and yank the kid out....
