He wants his team in their home uniforms at UCLA. This is an NCAA violation and the penalty is losing a couple of time outs (one each half) during the game.

last year actually. I don't think it's arrogant, Caroll was talking to former coach Dorell, and slick rick, and they were/are ok with it.

what kind of message does that send to your players? "go ahead and break the rules, as long as you can afford the consequences"?

 
I think he is sending a message to all of the recruits USC and UCLA are recruiting. The message is UCLA is their beotch.

I like the move. I'd love it more if USC lost.

 
If you read up on the reasons behind it, it is about a tradition the two teams. They used to both wear the 'home' jerseys when they played. And Carrol does have a petition in with the NCAA seeking an exemption for the game, but will go with the penalty if denied.

 
If it's good enough for Buffalo and Miami of OH...

Me bad for posting in the wrong place.

It's just I remember that butt kicking in Lincoln last year like it was yesterday. We wouldn't have had a chance if we were playing flag football the holes were so wide open.
