ESPN's Prestige rankings..

My guess is Nebraska will be thrown somewhere in the 6-10 range. In my heart I think Nebraska is most deserving, but statistically speaking I guess there are more prestigious teams out there. The ranking seem pretty fair so far though, nothing to unexpected. I do agree with Baylor being higher than KU.

I really dont expect ESPN to have the Huskers #1 but it was my top 10 and I must say I am a little bias.

but this isn't ESPN picking these... it's their formula that is picking them.. whoever ends up in the top spot just fits that formula. pretty much the most unbiased this convo would ever get.

sweet the 15-11 are out which means NU has to be in the top 10 BOOOOYAHHH!!!
What if they just juked us all and forgot to put NU in the list. :madash :bang :sarcasm

It wouldn't happen, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised.

I understand the formula ESPN is using. The bias comment was in reference to my own personal top 10. (see top of page)

The top 10 is going to consist of (not in order):

Nebraska

Oklahoma

Texas

Ohio State

Michigan

Notre Dame

Alabama

Florida State

Miami

USC

pick and choose, it's pretty damn close!

The cut off is 1936. Both schools have 8. ND will lose out on not being in a conf. Unless the independent schools rule in the best record category is more advantageous than I expect.

IDK what years they're starting but Nebraska has the most wins and the best winning percentage in the last 50 years.

I just hope they do it more recently so those old championships really wont count...like minnesota's 6
