Mods: Invite Ex-Players???

Just a thought, but I thought it might be neat if we could convince some ex- Huskers to join the board and get their insights and behind the scenes view points. What practices are like, how they feel about the program now etc. etc. Just have a chance to pick the brains of former players. If anyone know's some ex-player's and maybe one from each coaching regime. It might be fun and interesting. What do you guys think??

 
the only bad thing about that is it only takes one ding-dong to spout their mouth off and ruin it for everyone, but it would be great to hear some stories from some guys first hand.

 
That and you would have every yo yo known to man claiming to be players.

If they are here they are doing a wonderful job of handling themselves.

We will leave it at that.

 
I like the idea. That would be sweet to have some former or maybe even current players on the team

 
at KSU fans I know that one of the mod's is an ex-player so it's verified that he is legit. If we could get that done here it would be great to be able to get their perspective

Pssh... I am actually a highly advanced computer developed by UNL scientists with Bob Devaney's brain inside of me.

But seriously, while I think it would be cool to hear stuff from players not currently having their own radio show or a major contributor to another radio show (I say that because you can get their thoughts every afternoon already)... I can't help but wonder what would happen if a guy like Corey McKeon revealed himself to this board.

And like DJR said, there may already be some former players contributing to this board.

I know there are at least two current players that are members of this board, not necessarily contributing, but members none-the-less.

pillen clearly. but not sure on the other....

 
Well sure there may be players that peruse the board from time to time and post as well. But if we dont know who they are and dont have an administrator verify said person any post's they make are just more fodder.
