I'm assuming a massive meltdown for a loss.....that would last all season. I believe A&M has just recently recovered from our visit.

I think there would be a LOT of anger. Probably even more "Start CODY GREEN!" threads. Other than that, business as usual.

Prior to Pelini, we had a coach (who shall remain un-named) who flat out sucked. We lost several games by 3-10 points. There was much gnashing of the teeth and burning of effigy's <_<

Just look back a few hundred pages and see for yourself. We're one season removed from getting our butts waxed several times in 2007, in embarrassing fashion. We're less than a full season removed from several embarrassing losses in 2008. Blowout losses where we looked horrendous. It's not hard to find, but since you asked, click:

On the flip side, what would the stAte board be like if the margin was 49-3? I keep reading over there that the fans think they're going to win this game.

One of my favorite questions/answers was:

"Has ASU ever beat a ranked team in the history of the football program?"

To which a poster answered:

"Not in football. This will be our first."

If it's a blowout, how does stAte fan deal with that?

 
My guess there would be 10 kinds of post

1. Nebraska was overlooking ASU

2. The sunshine posters

3. The doomsayers

4. Cody Green needs to start

5. V Tech going to kill NU

6. Trolls

7. Turner vs Bo

8.Bo needs to fire Watson or Carl Pellini whichever side cost Nebraska the game or made it close.

9.How Callahan had something to do with the game.

10. People asking IBLEEDRED to Im about whats happening to the program.

11.More trolls

It would be rough. There would be a lot of threads about zac lee not being ready, some would blame others, and others would just say a win is a win.

what do you think would happen if a prestigous school such as NU gets beat by a school like yours? just enjoy the scenery in Lincoln, that's about all you'll be doing come Saturday :box
