i'll also add that it appears that pelinni is getting tired of this piss poor o-line play as evidenced by him chewing cotton out on the sideline during the game.

Completely with you dude. I hated this hire from day 1 (in reference to Barney). In just a few weeks he proved how inept a recruiter he was and has continued to do so.

Week after week we have constant mental mistakes that screw us over. And now we are getting man-handled by lines we should dominate?

I just don't get it.

Wats and Cotton both need to have a reality check this week. Drop the hammer in a hurry and let them know these performances will not be overlooked.

Let me just add something by starting with a positive. The defense is definitely under control with the Pelini's. It will only get better as time lets them get their players in the system. It will also get better as our offense gets better and keeps the other team off the field. At least that is half the battle, so let's at least say that we have a good start.

 
I think we need to just make Papuchis our offensive line coach and teach them how to tackle, its working out well for TT.

 
Offense is to complex to learn for a freshman and it should be WVized, more option zone reads and such and a FB needs to be added to run the ball like SC does and NU did in the past.

I've never seen a line that can get to the three yard line of their opponent's territory and then back it up to the 20 or further almost like clockwork. What the f#*k?

 
Bring in a power I running attack with the ability to run the spread plays like zone read and such. NU offense needs to go old school!!!
