Creaming conspiracy

Forgive me if this has been mentioned, but what color were the helmets last Saturday?

They looked cream as opposed to white. They seem to match the cream shoulder stripes that appeared a few weeks ago, as opposed to the numbering that is still white.

Comparing pics from last saturday and previous games, there seems to be a difference, but it could be lighting, angles, and the like.

Did I miss the boat? Was there some announcement that they were trading the white for cream...gradually?

Are they doing it covertly? If so why?

Was there a second shooter on the grassy knoll? What's saskwatch's take on all this?

Hard to say. Here's a pic from the game. Looks like it could be closer to the shoulder stripe color than the pants color...

Not a fan of the almost yellow stripes. What's the deal with them? Helmets looked white to me.

Well, our colors are actually Scarlet and Cream. We've been wearing white for years, so maybe they're trying to go back to our roots? Dunno. :dunno :

The yellow stripes are really bugging me. I would rather have no stripes than what we currently have. It looks terrible on TV! Surely someone in the department has noticed this???

I have a replica helmet that I bought a few years ago and it is a cream color as well, but like someone mentioned before our colors are scarlet and cream so this would be correct.

The Nebraska helmets look like cream-colored plastic when you compare them to the Sooner facemasks.

Well, as many times as our helmets were smashed up against their facemasks, you'd think it would be easy to find a comparison shot. I'm on the case....
