Yoshi Hardrick

HuskerNMO

All-Conference
Apparantly Yoshi was taken by ambulance to the hospital during practice today, not sure if it was due to heat or injury. Not a good start to fall camp :(

Hopefully it was just some dehydration and he'll be okay. Don't they have those pills the guys swallow and they then can track their body temperatures and stuff? Maybe his just got too high and they wanted to be safe.

already posted on another board he is fine, not to get worked up!!

Yikes, glad he is ok.

The thermometer in my backyard was the highest I've ever seen it today. At 3:30 it was reading 107.

not knowing anything about this scare untill reading this thread really put me on a roller coaster ride of emotion. Very glad to here that he's ok the last thing we need is less depth at O line

I don't want to sound like a pansy, but we do have two great indoor fields they could practice on. Just until it stops being so damn brutal outside. Just a thought.

Billy C moved practices indoors when there was a slight breeze. We all know its hot out, but this breaks a player down and builds him up better than what he was. I trust in Dobson and the Strength and Conditiong coaches to keep these boys hydrated.

You can practice hard indoors too, without the risk of death from heat exhaustion. I mean, wasn't it scorching yesterday?

Is that practice field air conditioned? If so they didn't have it turned on when I was there for Football 101. It was roasting hot in there.
