NU coach Bo Pelini said after practice that soph. linebacker Will Compton suffered a foot injury Thursday & will be sidelined indefinitely.

i dont feel like we have had all that many injuries, but the LBs have now been hit hard. this could really hurt our d losing both fisher and compton

The way these injuries are adding up especially at LB'er.....these will be game changing and season changing injuries. We literally lost our two best LB'ers! Look for teams to really try to beat up the middle of the field with the passing game. Inexperience at LB'er will usually be exposed with passes over the middle behind the linebackers and in front of the safeties. I guess we're really gonna find out about our depth huh?
