Hats off to Boise they earned it. Their play in the trenches won this game for them. And Kellen Moore is as cool as the other side of the pillow

 
btw that late hit was questionable but the whistle did blow and the hit was well after that. I think if a runner continues playing they should let him get hit, but that's not the rule.

 
Boise State can start getting respect when they beat someone in their house. I don't care this was a majority VT crowd. Boise State beat oregon at home, and beat VT at neutral. Go play someone at their house Boise State, or are you too scared to?

 
yeah, I can't remember seeing a flag picked up like on that punt return. Might've been the right thing, but usually a ref will stick with his call.

 
1. The late hit at the end was garbage. There was no way the linebacker saw him step out and it wasn't a vicious hit.

2. That was more or less a home game for VT in the same way the CCG for us last year was essentially a home game for Texas.

3. The announcers pretty much came out and said that with this win they (Boise) will find their way to the BCS championship game and that in itself shows what's wrong with Boise's schedule. I'm sorry, you need to play more than one difficult game a year. I would still take a one loss Big 10, Big 12, or SEC team over Boise any day assuming it was a close loss.

 
Well, as much as I dislike Boise and ESPN's drooling over them, Va Tech kicked themselves in the nuts on this one.

This is what bothers me. Here you have other Universities playing in tougher conferences with tougher schedules that work their way to a BCS bid and Boise plays 1 sometimes 2 tough teams a year and gets a cake walk schedule to a BCS bowl bid.....why should schools like Nebraska, OU, Ohio State, etc play in tougher conferences when they can go to the WAC and play that schedule and run thru it to get an automatic bowl bid to a BCS bowl like Boise State does.
