And finally....the Polk knees targeting section....

Notice our corner at the bottom of the screen getting tackled at the knees...

See our dlineman at the top....getting his knees taken out...and notice our lineman at the bottom...same thing...

Oh Polk was complaining about HIS knees being taken out. Here's our guy going a little low...funny thing was previously he was

breaking through our arm tackles up high....this was the only low tackle I could find in the 1st quarter

Sorry I did not mean to dis' the topic the who cares was a general statment. I will add that I think it is always hard to calculate the difference calls make because had the call not been made we don't know how either team responds. Very reasonable topic to throw out I did not mean to sound like an a$$.

The block on Polk looks illegal. The ones on the line of scrimmage are legal, I'm pretty sure, as long as the D lineman isn't already occupied by another blocker.

Yeah there's nothing illegal in any of those knee blocks/tackles. Polk complained after the game that we were targeting his bad knees. I was just showing that football is football...

You needed to add about five/ten frames to the beginning of this .gif to see #37 load up and punch Martinez in the head. The Line Judge is right there, looking right at it, and does nothing.

Same guy does the same thing on the very next play.

Sorry, didn't mean the one ON Polk, just the one you noted in the bottom corner of the Polk run. I think that's too far from the line of scrimmage.

As far as Polk and his knees, yeah, it's football. As long as nobody is twisting on them in a pile, which I never saw.
