Embarrassed to live in Wisc

I know this is stupid, but I live in Wisconsin and didn’t go to work today b/c I couldn’t show my face… I was (still am) embarrassed of the Huskers this past weekend. This is just a hard loss to get over. Thinking about going on vacation the rest of this week or just quitting and starting over somewhere else... LOL!

 
If your coworkers give you anything worse than your average good-natured "Man what happened to you guys?" jab when you go back to work, you should probably be looking for a new job. If you can't handle your average good-natured "Man what happened to you guys?" jab, you should probably be looking for a shrink.

Suck it up and get back to work.

I would think this game would be a lot easier for someone living in Wisconsin than last year was for someone who lived in Texas after that game.

 
If you live in Wisconsin, and even if you don't, you are welcome to jump on the Packers and Brewers bandwagon, if that will help you forget about the Huskers this year. Or you can go to a lake, or find a hill to enjoy. :-) OK, I admit that was uncalled for, just having fun. There is life after college football, at least in Wisconsin anyway. Trust us we know, we've had teams that were bad for entire decades. Nebraska had one bad game, and maybe a nonHusker type year, but Nebraska football has always been one of the nation's elite programs, and will continue to be. Be proud of your team in red, even it has an N instead of a W on the jersey!

Wow... Guess I should clarify... didn't go to work b/c I have the option to work at home as well (it's not like I called in sick). Guess sarcasm and humor are difficult to get across on the boards.

Just had to post something to my fellow Huskers out there who may be feeling the same. I always stand behind the Huskers and wear my N with pride! Just a more difficult loss than usual for me... that's all.

If you added a forward slash on the front of that N it would become a W. The color scheme is right.... Does that help?

 
Eh, we have no defense, a new OC, and a flawed QB... and Wisconsin has their greatest team of all time right now. Don't worry about it.
