black helmet

A black helmet wouldn't be bad if it had a white 'N', I think.

But it's going to be hard to wear black at all w/red and white and not look like a distraught, homeless Texas Tech program sodomized someone in the equipment office.

I feel if it had a red stripe running down the middle of it, that would make it more badass but I am content with that

No way. Take real close look. That is an old used helmet. Almost looks like it was spray painted. Not to mention the gashes above the face mask. Got to be a fake.

 
This topic was discussed at length on another board before the Wisconsin game. The helmet was an old helmet that the scout team painted black to emulate Texas Tech during practice a few years back. There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that we are going to switch to black helmets.
