Call it emotion, call it what you want. I didn't lose respect for Suh until he lied about. Football is an emotional game, but damn don't get on national TV and absolutely lie about it while at the same time bringing the man upstairs into the conversation. I see politics in the future for the boy named Suh.

I watched the play earlier today and what I saw was Suh being tackled by the o-line then held down by the linemans right arm, at which time Suh tried to get up and became pissed that he couldn't and tried to get the olineman to let go (pushing him the only place he could since he was being hugged) and then tripped over the lineman when he got up, stumbled, and out of frustration stomped on the ground, and it just so happened that the guys arm was between his foot and the turf. Was it necessarily malicious? No. Was it a very poor example of maintaining composure? Absolutely. He's being held and tackled every play and unlike college, he can't get through it and that makes him mad. But he's got to be better at controlling himself because when Suh gets angry, people die.

That's exactly how I felt about it. He was obviously pissed, and although I don't think he fully meant to kick the guy, he did. Lying about what he did is far worse than what he actually did, in my opinion.

I read an article on ESPN I think saying that Dietrich-Smith wasn't letting go of Suh and was in fact pulling him towards the ground. If Suh was trying to get his balance while getting pulled down, it only looked like he was pushing Dietrich-Smith's head into the ground.

Any fan (especially any Badger fan) that comes on here acting as if the Packers were completely innocent in this situation is either completely naive or they're worse homers than any of the Nebraska fans in this thread. The Packers O-Line was baiting Suh all game long - they even said as much after the game. And point, Packers - they got him to commit the foul, and even got him kicked out of the game for taking the bait - but stop with all this high-and-mighty "That's not the way the game is meant to be played" BS.

Even if Dietrich was holding Suh explain to me how that is an even halfway reasonable response. It isn't, and his post game comment just proves he has piss poor character. Suspend him.

The biggest :facepalm: in this thread is your excessive use of exaggeration. Suh didn't *actually* punch Culter, he didn't *actually* almost rip Delhomme's head off, ect, ect. If you have to resort to exaggeration to get your point across, what does that say about the point you're trying to make?

Aren't penalties subjective? I mean, I saw Nick Fairley while playing at Auburn get away with some of the dirtiest plays I have ever seen in CFB. Yet, no penalties.

I can only judge a man off of what I see. I didn't go to NU, I don't live in Lincoln and I'm not going to spend my time reading up on every kid that plays CFB, maybe he's a great guy but not from what I've seen. Had he done what he did on the field, came out and said "I got frustrated, I snapped and I shouldn't have done it" I'd have much less of a problem with him, I'd still think he played dirty but I wouldn't think he was a dirty as a person...unfortunately he didn't man up, he completely bitched out in that comment. I have very little respect for him now.

I just want to say I find it interesting how much my posts have stirred people up. I simply described the incident how I saw it, what I thought of Suh and what I thought should happen to him. I wasn't demeaning to anyone or to NU, can't say the same about some HB posters around here. Kind of like the Iowa-Gameday thread, when people flipped sh#t after I kindly pointed out that several games have a claim to the "Game of the Century" moniker. People around here sometimes...I'm telling ya... :facepalm: . Not everything is personal, not everything I say is because I'm a UW-GB homer, sometimes, just sometimes I'd like to talk about Football objectively in a friendly manner. I guess that's too much to ask of some people.

1. I have never claimed objectivity when discussing this issue. In fact, I have openly admitted that my view of this is skewed. Read my posts.

2. I have evidence that have contributed to my opinions. I can provide photos and videos if you like and I have the stats to back up my claims. That's better than, "Well the Packers hold all the time."

3. My arguments are sound enough for me not to have to pursue tangents like "hey remember that time Woodson punched that Saint?"...what the hell does that have to do with Suh?

4. I have not, implicitly or openly insulted other posters. That can not be said for some here.

...and as far as my use of "exaggeration" I have also admitted to that. I enjoy writing almost as much as I enjoy humor so yes, I may use colorful adjectives. If you would like me to write a detailed and neutral narrative of what I actually see in the video I'd be more than happy to but I get enough of that bullsh#t at work.

I hate the packers, i hate them with every fiber of my body. I hate them more then my rich, petty inlaws. I loathe Brett Farve for only the fact that he played there. I loathe there stadium and there chest thumping fan base. There the Ohio St of the NFL. But that still doesnt mean what Suh did should at all be remotely ok. You dont violently drive one foot down to get your balance. He was pissed and caught up in the moment. Maybe he was just stomping because he was pissed and he didnt realize his arm was there, fine but just admit it. Admit you made a mistake and your actions will be looked at with alittle less scrutiny then someone throwing a fit.

What Suh did yesterday is not the Suh we know - that was after the whistle, pre-meditated and not acceptable. And worst of all, he denied it.
