Carl Pelini

I think he has a better chance at one of these smaller schools.

I could see Carl being a good fit at Akron. I read they think they'll get Tressel. But as far as mid majors they have good facilities and a good recruiting base that Carl knows. It would be a good place to cut your teeth.

We did this song and dance last year. Carl had supposedly cheated with some boosters wife (or something stupid like that) and TO was ready to give him the axe. There are probably more "95% know it's true" rumors over the last 5 years than there are grains of sand in the Sahara desert.

 
Well if Carl does leave there are plenty of openings to consider! More crappola hitting the fan! Wow! Lots of impatient people in college football!

Carl leaves for "personal reasons" or another gig, Akron coach fired while driving to mother's funeral, Kevin Cosgroves services now available! To me it seems like the heavens have shook and the stars have aligned for a magical sequel; even better than Highlander II.

I lied.

If Carl is out at the end of the season, promoting from within is the second-to-last thing I want to see.

Telling you, as much as I LOVED Sanders, he isn't coming back....and Coleman doesn't really "excite" me either. If Carl leaves, then Bo needs to go get a "big time" DC, whom shares the same philosophy he does.

If Carl did leave & Mike goes to tOSU. Then I look for Bo to go after his childhood friend Mark Stoops at FSU. Not saying he could talk him over, but I sure there will be a phone call.
