I might been thinking of the basketball coach. I thought I saw some pictures posted of Nevan with the football/basketball coaches at a club or something.

Some assistants on the football staff were involved, but never really Randy. And yes their BBall coach was pretty involved with him

I agree. The guy hasn't been dominant anywhere he has been. I also think he would not step down from a HC position to a DC position. Not saying it can't happen, but unlikely. I am sure that I don't want the guy here.

Bo finally allowed Wats to turn it loose for the bowl game two years ago. We came out with the Rexcat that had been kept under wraps for pretty much all year, and a lot of different things they were not expecting at all, and we pounded them.

That doesn't mean Stoops is a bad DC. You could point to a few games over Bo's tenure.

Stoops is a good coach, I think. He would be a great get.

Whoever we get, I hope they influence Bo to alter his scheme so that the D-linemen actually are put in a position to penetrate and make plays in the backfield rather than just contain. DRIVES ME CRAZY!

Stoops would be a home run, slam dunk, hole in one, 3rd-base-on-the-first-date hire. Bo will likely hire his high school baseball coach instead though.

Then again, there's probably a reason Stoops hasn't taken that Ohio State offer...

Really? Boo Although, I'm still torn. I can see good things happening if Stoops came here and I could see good things happening if Bo makes JP the DC. Hard to tell.

A quick google search reveals the only articles out are about Stoops to OSU or Nebraska.

Dont you think its odd that Stoops hasnt accepted the tOSU job yet.
