SEC title game

I'm interested to see what happens if LSU loses this game. IMO, here's what SHOULD happen:

Title game: Bama-Okie State (if OSU wins tonight)

Georgia gets BCS bowl (obviously)

This slides LSU out of the BCS picture. WOW!

Therefore if we go to the Capital One Bowl, we could possibly face LSU. This is the definition of chaos...

You do realize how bad of a football game that would be right?

The scenario is highly unlikely. OSU would need to hang a 100 on Boomer for that to happen. And Georgiawould have to embarrass LSU the rest of this one.

I realize what you're saying, and you're right that this is the national perspective on the deal, but to me, letting LSU still get into the national title game with a loss is a total double-standard for the SEC. Regardless of what they've done before this point which I respect completely, if any other team from another conference were in the same situation and then lost in the conference championship, they would get booted down a few spots in the rankings. So why would it not happen to LSU? It makes no sense...

It happened with Oklahoma. It happened with Nebraska (not the CCG, but the last regular season game). Enough with the SEC conspiracy already!

You know, I thought the honey badger tossed the ball to the ref too early. That would've been funny if they'd have called it.

Not gona win many games with 10 yards of offense in a half...I don't care how good your special teams are.
