I don't follow the schedule too closely, but I can't remember having an open date this close to season in a long time. What's the holdup here? Schedule some patsy, pay em 750k and move on.

I'm guessing "Patsy" knows she has D-1 teams by the shorthairs and won't be bought off with 750 K anymore......................they are ironically holding some serious cards in this negotiation.............

At this point, how many teams even have open dates that they could fill with a trip to Lincoln? There can't be that many.

I think Texas A&M has an open date and i'd love to play them but like others have said its probably gonna be a FCS team.
