This might sound weird, but im actually glad so far we are worried about the defense and not the offense.

Whaley isn't terrible. He read the plays really well and was constantly in the right position.

He missed a few big tackles but that's because he kept dropping his head. That's fixable.

This is my thought on Whaley. By and large I liked what I saw from him. +1

Anyone think the shot he took to the head could have affected him a little more than we know?

It may be difficult to nail down a grade for the team because we really don't know what S Miss has. If I heard correctly they have 3 or 4 starters from the OLine back from a pretty good team last year. That would explain some of our D Line problems....but certainly not all.

That giving up 260 total yards in a game makes Husker fans angry! The soutern Miss black QB is silky smooth and made it look easy making people miss. He reminds me of Vince Young when he was a Freshman.

Just curious how 6.2 yards per carry and not one penalty up front is disappointing. Not being a jerk just curious...

Our D-line and LB's are underwhelming. Braxton Miller looks terrifying. Quincy Enunwa is still a beast.
