I do think a medical event isn't unlikely, whether that's for Biden, Trump, Bernie or anyone else. They're all of an age. Like we've talked about before, if Biden drops out and anyone besides Bernie then gets the nomination, it'll end any chance of beating Trump. Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Interesting graph showing leadership and ideology of Senators who could potentially become Biden's VP. I've labeled people of interest. B = Bernie W = Warren K = Klobuchar Ba = Tammy Baldwin D = Tammy Ducksworth By this metric Harris has sponsored and cosponsored more lefty legislation than Warren. Interestingly enough, Warren's circle is almost perfectly overlapped with Cory Booker's. Link to comment

Quoting this here because it seemed off-topic in the Plague thread. Bear in mind Bernie's actual primary vote share has shrunk by ~28% which means his base is smaller which means that 12% or whatever it ends up being that votes for Trump is smaller. FWIW I agree with @BlitzFirst on this one. Not sure it's big enough to bother worrying about. I think it's morally imperative we dump Trump but I'm not about to delude myself into thinking everyone thinks so. Link to comment

Danny Bateman
WI Supreme Court slaps down Evers' EO stopping election tomorrow. Guess it's back on. Conservatives really want this election to happen. Wish I'd have taken the long odds that the election would not happen on PredictIt earlier. 1 Link to comment

It's a fringe idea that Biden will drop out and somehow, someway Cuomo will end up as the nominee regardless of the voting. So who is thinking about Cuomo for Biden's VP? Is it too obvious to be spoken of? Link to comment

I think perhaps you might not represent the median expectation for Biden. 1 1 Link to comment

I just think he's already made his mind up on the woman, and made it public during the debate to score some Progressive points against Bernie. Also, nobody was paying attention to Biden's stance on the 2005 bankruptcy bill, but I think they would very much notice if he promised a woman VP and announced a man. Would it hurt him? I guess you'd just add it to the list. He has a firewall of not being Trump and that's doing 83% of his work. Link to comment
