Long time lurker, noticed over the last week or so you have about 1 positive and 20-30 negatives to say. He does a great job shedding the block and forcing the ball carrier out of bounds. Also, there was no cut back, because if he would've cut, he would've been out of bounds. Thirdly, if you ever have done any real coaching or taken any coaching classes, you always reinforce negatives with a positive. You have no idea what happened after the play, and what was said by the coaches. Overall, it was a great play.

Nobody here wants to encourage bad behavior, but writing a truculent dissertation off of some snippets of practice video isn't the correct approach either. This is exactly why media availability is so limited these days, and for the better, in my opinion. We can't even be trusted to rationally approach what little access we are given.

We all want to believe we live in the greatest country in the world, but metric after metric shows us sliding down the scale. I don't even know if I would put us in the top 10 of best countries to live right now.

I coach form tackling...but I sure don't expect it in a game because I remember that the guy with the ball is trying too. During a game I just want my guy to get their guy to the ground. The only thing I really stress is...See what you hit and low man wins...I toss out some other cliches too but if you clean them up they are not really a sentence.

Not fair to judge Jackson based on this cell phone video taken from way back. His history is what it is we all know that, but you can't look at this one video and totally condemn him. Maybe this was his first poor tackle of the drill. The running back bounced way outside maybe Jackson was letting up so he didn't smash him into teammates that are right there. He also is clearly coming from behind the running back and fighting to get his head in front instead of horse collaring the guy. To bash him off this one video with zero context is unfair and the reason we don't get more media availability. The point of this is Jackson went head to head with his blocker and beat him who cares if that is a redshirt middle schooler he did what he was supposed to. Commend the guy for practicing hard and work with him on his technique. Saying his tackling continues to SUCK when you haven't seen anything besides this one video is bull.

Relax, he knocked the runner out of bounds which counts the same as a take down tackle. The celebration is for 1) winning the rep, which they did, and 2) knocking the blocker into next week. Obviously you'd rather he wrap up and form tackle, but at least he's being physical. Yeah his tackling needs to improve, but it already has over the course of the last year. Jackson bought in and turned his career around, and there's still a section of the fanbase that would rather he fail because they have him pegged a certain way.

I will judge LJ with his play this upcoming season. I saw many times him shying away last year and it was annoying to watch. I think all the fans are hoping he has improved, but want to see it on Saturdays.

Senate Republicans might vote to impeach him if he were unpopular with their voters. But he's not, particularly in red states. He's still got an 85+% approval rating with the base. So he won't be convicted either, also on the basis of politics, regardless of the evidence. If Pelosi is waiting on Mueller to drop his findings to use them as the basis for impeachment, good. That's what should happen. If she's flat out decided against it because she thinks he's beatable next year at the polls, that's a poor leadership if there's evidence he committed crimes.

The way to get at Trump is through his kids. If Don Jr. gets indicted than Trump might resign. Other than that, the republicans don't care what he does, so they will not go along with impeachment. Democrats need to try and beat him in the election.

This is the reason so many people hate politicians. Pelosi is weighing whether to impeach based on party politics instead of the merits of the case. If there's evidence to move forward with impeachment, then do it based on the evidence not on what she believes will happen with future elections.

There is written info on min notice of moving voting site, permitting written statement for proof of ID to vote (more detail below - perhaps the right is stretching this to think an illegal immigrant would do this?), extending rights to family members with spouses serving in the military, accessibility to handicapped people, allowing same day voter registration (also maybe this is where they think the illegals are coming in and voting?) If you look at the bill I don't see how you walk away thinking this has anything to do with illegal immigrants voting. It's making sure young people are registered, that voting locations are where they say they are and have hours that make them accessible. That mail ballots count and early voting should be the norm, that perhaps voting day should be a holiday, and that at age 18 you should be automatically registered to vote. Honestly I'm not sure anybody who reads this would have an issue with any of it (unless you're the McCardle mindset that when more people vote GOP loses) SEC. 303A. Nobody is saying they did. All that's being said is that the process of going through criminal justice with lawyers is complicated, subjective and sometimes things are done for strategic reasons towards other things.

Overall, I recall LJ being beat a lot, and subquently being benched for it: This then lead to him even considering transferring and then realizing that he needed to adapt to the system. I personally think LJ has came along way under this staff. He is not perfect, or a complete player yet, but he is bought in and only getting better. Just the fact that he is a player that younger guys look up to is a huge start from where he was. The hardest thing to do when teaching a corner to tackle is for him to want to tackle. Now that he is wanting to tackle, the rest is just a matter of time.

Shoulder to hip, wrap, elevate and drive for 5 is great in a controlled practice. Have you ever played football? That's not how it's happen 95% of the time. Should you teach that? Yes. Is it going to happen in a live scenario like this probably not. If you watch that video Jackson cuts back up field to make the tackle. He's not coming head on with the guy. There is no way that he can wrap and elevate when they are both moving upfield. I know you don't teach guys to tackle like this, but the point is he did the best he could in this single scenario to out a shoulder on the hip and drive the guy out if bounds. On the next play he could have hit the guy with a perfect form tackle you have no idea. So to use this single play and say he hasn't improved is nonsense.

I might also worry about precedent, and legacy. With all we have seen, and surely more to come, if this President is immune from impeachment, then the next megalomaniac might try to push the boundaries even farther. We need to show a certain set of standards, and if there is evidence of a crime, it must be pursued - strategically yes, but pursued nonetheless. Even if conviction never happens, if impeachment is not pursued, it will give the current bastards in the Senate cover for the future. Once this whole mess is over with and Trump is out of office, and the true stain of his corruption is out in the open, most of his former supporters will start to distance themselves from his memory and say they were never truly on board with him to begin with. If we never put the bastard on trial for his crimes, Republican senators for years will be able to say "Sure, I would have voted to convict him, but the Democrats in the House failed to impeach him in the first place, God bless America!" The evidence of Trump's crimes should be exposed to the world, and the Senators who get a say in conviction or acquittal need to go on record with their decision after seeing said evidence. If the evidence is overwhelming, but Republicans acquit him anyway, the injustice they allowed is inescapably on their record. The alternative to this is the Democrats not even trying, which is a pathetic look.

Already looks a little bigger than Gebbia every did (which isn't saying much). -Casey Rogers looks massive. -Tate Wilderman still looks a little small (Wasn't he hurt last year?) -Legrone has put on some size, looks good. -Chris Hickman is way too skinny, but man, that's a helluva frame to put some weight on. -Jameis looks different, in a good way. -Andre Hunt has bulked up. -Darrion Daniels looks like a giant human being.... So does his brother, Damion. -Garrett Nelson's body looks like that of a 5 year NFL veteran.

I actually really appreciate her and Schiff's approach on this. Unless there's something "graphic" there's no way his people will ever turn against him, and the long term ramifications to the US are too significant. I think it's a short term feel good solution, and they're playing the long game, which is if 70% of people hate him and his actions enough we can do better in 2020.

Especially against most of the defenses in the division, whom are LB heavy. Generally they don’t have the depth in the secondary to afford to remove what’s often their best players. Washington had his two best receiving days against Iowa and Wisconsin. Expect a lot more of that.

Leftism is not Anti-American. America is diverse, complicated, made up of tons of different ideas and backgrounds and experiences and cultures, and has gone through seasons of being more liberal and more conservative. Frankly, this is maybe the worst way you could have tried to start making a point. I agree. But not because of runaway leftism. Rather, Russia is feeling like they've done a great job because of people saying things like the more left we go the less American we become. Russia is sowing the seeds of extremism, polarization, tribalism and entrenched nastiness or mockery. Conservatives and liberals alike. Maybe a step in the right direction would be acknowledging and embracing that liberals are also Americans, and also resemble/represent America? You want us to all unite as Americans, but it seems the implication is that you'll only be happy with it if it's conservative America. What our country actually can't support is a reality without illegal immigrants. They prop up and make possible the survival of many of our industries. The day we got rid of all illegal immigrants is the day our economy collapses. The threat is us. It's how we don't value good wages for workers. It's how we build our wealth off the back of unfair labor. It's how we make it so difficult for people to come here that so many see no other choice than to break the rules. If we want to fix immigration and secure our borders, which I am 100% in favor of, we need to start looking at the plank in our eye instead of obsessing over the fake emergencies of someone else's speck. I'm not a Democrat, and I'm left of center. Some would call me a liberal. Others call me too conservative. Just so you're aware that it's not just extreme libs who take issue and have disagreement with what you're saying. Post WWII was also the most liberal and progressive America has ever been...
