  1. So if we get both, it would only make sense that Watts be the 'X' and Betts be the 'Z' right?

  2. If they were conservative, they wouldn't say they were independent. If they were liberal, they wouldn't say they were independent. There's a middle, you know - not everyone who isn't conservative is a liberal. How can you possibly see the world in such a childish false binary way?

  3. I trust Gebbia could throw as well, but no one, no matter how many practices they watched, is gonna convince me that toothpick was anywhere near as athletic as Martinez. I also don’t believe Frost would make him the starter just because he recruited him.

  4. To be fair, I think he would have been fine in the offense. But "the system didn't fit me" is much easier to say than "the other guy was just better than me".

  8. I was way off on why Doc would leave So Miss. I didn't realize that he was making so little $ there, and he could make the same or even more $ at NU, and not have the full responsibilities of being a head coach. Doc is 58 years old, so he may want to start winding down his coaching career and ride off into the sunset in Lincoln.

  15. So now people are convicting a president because they think it was possible. Tell that to Obama who told the Russians to tell Putin on a hot mic that he'd have more flexibility after his second election. What was he colluding with Putin about? Was it possible? No investigation! Wow! But I guess since it was Obama it was all okay!

  16. I know we generally give him a pass because he's generally a bumbling idiot who isn't very concerned with reality, but this type of language is incredibly damaging to the tone and civility of our politics. It's not treason to hold the president accountable. He's not above the law. It doesn't matter how much he wishes he was.

  18. Those are months ago. Dersh claimed CNN stopped having him on because he told them unpleasant legal truths such as "exercising due powers cannot be obstruction of justice." If CNN has a denial Ill listen. Are you saying you go directly to the AP wire or read their articles through a normal medium? PRetty much every media outlet uses AP stories. Self described independents tend to be quite partisan. it was on NPR

  19. No, it doesn't make it fact. Why do you believe this without seeing the report?

  20. Really, earlier you said you basically just read the first sentence then can't go any farther because you are so convinced it's all a bunch fo lies. So, you have a preconceived idea that it's all lies...why? Because alt right media outlets have convinced you it's all lies?

  21. Why is everyone hung up on media outlets? Why can't we use the actual words of the President straight from his mouth and fingers to make our opinions? Trump says on camera that windmills cause cancer: they don't Trump says on camera that he trusts Putin over his own intelligence Trump says on camera that he knows more about ISIS than US Generals: excuse me while I laugh Trump says his tax cut is the largest in history: it's not Trump says on camera that McCain isn't a war hero: Trump's Twitter account, let alone some of his ramblings on air and at rallies, is reason enough to know that he is in way over his head. I don't see this as a right vs. left issue as much as I see it as a struggle between what people find acceptable from the POTUS. It just so happens political affiliation has a say in how low we might let those standards fall.

  22. Well, that doesn't surprise me after you wrote this. So, basically, what you are saying, unless you are extreme conservative, you are a blind liberal. So, anything close to the middle, to you is a blind liberal. With that attitude, that obviously carries over to your views of media outlets. If something isn't hard conservative, it's a liberal mouth piece. Interesting you constantly keep going back to these. They aren't in my top 5.

  23. I have no problem sharing my top 5. I just hadn't gotten to it yet. I've actually been away from my computer more than usual. I'm guessing my top 5 are: AP Ruetters Intercept Vox (They are more liberal leaning than I like but, I'll read their articles that are well sourced.) NPR I want to read something that is as close to just the facts as possible. I feel these do a decent job. I also read a lot of financial and business articles from various financial news sources. I'll read some articles from NYT, Fox, CNN if they are well sourced and I can verify with other articles. I read very few opinion pieces and never watch any night time network political crap. You do realize that the article of your's I quoted earlier wasn't a news article, right?

  27. So in effect your asking the Attorney General to break the law and just turn it over, grand jury testimony and all. You know it's against the law for any grand jury testimony to be release and made public right? Does the law mean any thing? But then that doesn't fit the left's narrative, so to heck with the law, it doesn't apply. I have no problem what so ever with releasing the whole thing un-redacted. But then again the left knows it can't be released, so they come up with this, "he has to release it all" when they already know he can't, just make it look like he is hiding something. Nice try, but it's not working. Again people getting played by the politicians they chose to support. Also your little article your reference is nothing not already known and is just the recycling of an old story that never had any legs to begin with, all for the purpose of have something negative to direct the people who dwell on seeing our wonderful and great POTUS go down at a time when some very bad things will begin happening to the people who conspired to take down a duly elected President of the United States of America.

  30. Glad you mentioned that. Alan Dershowitz was blacklisted out of CNN because his legal opinions helped Trump. Of course Dersh hadn't really changed his views since the Clinton-Starr affair when he was trotted out on all the usual suspects in the liberal media. One of the best things about Fox news commentary is they bring guys they like AD they usually disagree with. FYI there was a lot of pressure put on D politicians not to go on Fox, it sounded like a full scale boycott. And as of now the DNC has boycotted Fox news from hosting a debate. So it's easy to see that one side is doing their best to silence open and free debate.

  31. Guys with speed and hands in high school run “routes” and the ball is thrown up. They go get it. In college coverages are better and guys covering them are step for step. It’s harder. Learning to jab and step in a route (without losing speed), twist the DB’s hips to gain leverage within the route, not give away the ball with your eyes, being in a spot where the QB expects you to be, reach for the ball (but not too early), make the catch, get off the line clean, keep your feet in bounds on sideline throws, catching and making a guy miss.. it’s way way way different in college. Let alone learning how to block, be a decoy, cut block, go in motion, fake run and pass, knowing yardage to sticks...etc etc when I went to college ball (as a defender) I was amazed at the level of skill it took to catch a pass. It’s no joke. It takes time. The best of the best make it seem easy so we expect most to do it. These guys are just now learning how at the level Frost expects. I foresee great leaps by this unit because of time and coaching.

  32. I didn't hate the kid. I just realized he wouldn't be an ideal fit for Frost's offense, while plenty of others thought he could/would still be a good QB for Frost. He was not a dynamic runner and was too slight. I don't blame him for transferring at all.

  34. I was seven years old and sitting in the west balcony with my Grandpa for the 1994 Colorado game. This was the first season that I really followed football after remembering the feeling at the end of the '93 season. Boy, did this season deliver on that hype; Lawrence Phillips dominating the Spring Game, Tommie Frazier running around West Virginia on TV, Frazier's subsequent blot clot being on the news and in the paper, Wyoming's QB getting folded in half. Nebraska was a super fun team to watch that was just destroying over-matched teams that couldn't physically handle our strength and speed. Colorado, on the other hand, was battle tested against great competition. While our star QB was out, their triumvirate of Kordell Stewart, Rashaan Salaam, and Michael Westbrook were the toast of the college football season by putting up insane numbers and completing the craziest Hail Mary in college football history at Michigan and a last second field goal to win in Austin. It was a battle of top ranked teams and the 200th consecutive sell-out of Memorial Stadium. I ate so many Runzas.

  35. I'll reply with this article: Now you have to read it. No matter what you say there are facts in it and some common sense. 36. Correct. Especially when you factor in health issues. That being said, if both guys are healthy, I think it is a safe assumption to say Martinez probably has a higher ceiling but who knows how Gebbia would look in real live game action. Martinez certainly proved he has some pretty good skills that translate to on-field success. Gebbia might not have loved the offense, but he certainly had enough skill(from what I have heard) in his legs to be able to run it but he knew eventually Martinez would be the guy and left for somewhere that recruited him. I hope he gets a chance to play, I would like to see how he turns out.

  37. So, you do realize this is a propaganda article with no facts actually stated in the piece....right? The only purpose of that article is to convince you of some deep dark conspiracy that has a lot of innuendo and suggestions....but, no actual facts to back it up.
