Dunno, but I think playing the music during the spring game takes away a little of the excitement/game atmosphere.3 points

A few things from the spring game: 1) On zone plays and inside screens, he can get to that second level quick and he’s driving people when he gets there. LBs really need to have their head on a swivel. 2] He is still undersized, but he didn’t really struggle much because he did a good job of sinking his hips and keeping his pad level low. If this scrimmage is any indication of how his spring has went, it’s clear why he’s running with the 1s. His natural athleticism helps, but he’s physical and he’s picking up the technical side very quickly.3 points

That's an incredibly subjective statement that doesn't mean anything. What measures? Measures of what? Who measured them? Define better? That's a Pre-K type of statement. Is the increase in hate crimes better than before? Are the soybean farmers doing better than before? Is it better that our president has historically awful approval ratings than before? Our world reputation certainly isn't better than it was before Trump. The erosion of trust in media and institutions doesn't seem to be better. The increased number of people working in and with the White House who are criminals doesn't seem to be better. The environment is doing worse.2 points

Someone would still have to throw the ball though . You can put a WR/TE in to block right now for a trick play without having a combination K/WR. (I gave you a +1 to bump you off of 402, I couldn't resist the urge)2 points

No problem! I'm waiting on the 45 minute version with nothing but the plays.2 points

I think we may have finally found Alex Davis a role he excels at. In the spring game he played primarily as that on the line OLB pass rusher and he was an absolute menace. Did a great job not letting those much bigger tackles get their hands on him in pass rushing situations. Showed a nice ability to rush inside and outside from a wide technique as well as getting underneath the lineman’s pad level and just moving him out of the way. He looks so much quicker this year, too.2 points

Most schools are recruiting him at DE but we're looking at him at OLB with an eye towards teams that are more power-run teams. Mainly looking at us and Iowa State. Planning to commit before his season starts. No other trips planned right now but looking at Wisconsin and Kansas State.2 points

As he was throwing that, the section football genius loudly says "What is he throwing that into!" very snarky like. Then TD. Then he made one of those grunt noises that indicated how sorry he was that he made that thought audible for us all to hear.2 points

"Blown away" by his visit. Going to take OVs to California and Princeton. Planning to return here for an OV as well. Wants to commit before his season starts.1 point

The game itself was kind of a snooze fest, and I know I’m not alone with that sentiment. It was very basic, as always, but many top line players were out with (mostly) minor injuries or other issues. It was nice to see some of the other guys, too, and some of the younger/less experienced guys did well for themselves, but when the RB corps consists mostly of walk ons, and no JD/MoWa/Robinson, etc, it lacked pizazz.1 point

Caseys pizza is slightly better than Valentinos but both are not great. I will still eat them in a pinch because Pizza is still yum-tastic, but those two are near the very bottom.1 point

Thank you! I was cracking up after I asked her and she caught her breath because we kinda got into a little argument while we were packing. We left on Wednesday morning and came back Friday night so we didn't really need to pack much. I had hidden the box in one of my shoes and had planned on putting the shoe in my carry-on. She kept telling me I didn't need a carry-on because didn't have that much stuff. She even picked up the shoes that the box was in and I freaked out a little bit. I ended up bringing my work bag with 2 books I had no intention of reading just to conceal the box.1 point

We had a trip to Vegas planned for her spring break and I kept trying to set up events; helicopter tours, spa days, fancy dinners, etc. She kept shooting them all down because she just wanted to go to pool and drink and relax. We did end up going to a nice dinner one night (Mr. Chow's; which was great [get the sea bass!]). We're finishing up and I have the ring in my shirt pocket. The guy comes to ask if we need anything else and she blurts out "just the check!" So we're onto the next place, some fancy lounge for c$%ktails and dessert. It wasn't the right place either. I tried to do it in some private areas around the fountains outside Caesar's but she was really wanting to get back to the hotel because her feet were killing her. So I ended up doing it in our hotel room while we were having a night cap together by the window watching all the lights. She was super surprised (which is all I wanted) and she said she was happy it was a private thing for us instead of a big public event.1 point

I realize this isn't quite your question but we had the B1G West champs beat until we melted down in the last five minutes. And we only lost to the conference champs - and the team that finished the year #3 in the country - by 5 at their place. In Frost's first year. So I'm pretty sure we stack up pretty well with anyone in the conference.1 point
