Said he liked Nebraska more than his 3 previous official visits with other schools. Also asked another player if the coaches 'were like this all the time' and they responded yes. Said he really liked the coaches. Said he really liked the city of Lincoln and that everyone was nice and genuine and it was more than he thought it was going to be. Says he can tell that the current players really like playing for the coaches and he could tell they were having fun doing it. Also said he already knew Noa Pola and Javin Wright as well. Says he wants to go home and talk to his dad about his visit and that he only has one more official visit and that will be his last one.4 points

My oldest sister moved to NYC after college and she brought back her boyfriend at the time and he had never left the city or fished before. I took him fishing at a local farm pond and and it was the first time he ever encountered cattle and caught a fish. He was beyond himself and loved every moment. A bonus for him was when we were headed home, we came across a big bullsnake on the road. He flipped s#!t over it as he had never seen a snake before either. Its amazing the reactions of people that experience things for the first tume while some of us take it for granted.4 points

When we joined the Big Ten, we were coming off back-to-back 10 win seasons. I'd hardly call that struggling. But it's OK, @Huskers93-97, you're far from the only one with a selective memory of the Pelini era.3 points

Here is my thing, it is early. Imo, dude must be a baller in Frost and Co. eyes or they probably would have strung him out as a backup plan. You don't let backup plans commit at this point in the cycle.2 points

He is very aggressive and showed well for the coaches at a camp down there. He is starting to gain attention from other big schools.2 points

Some context here, this was supposed to be a joke. It's a peaceful rally supporting loggers. They're "joking" about the headlines about the militias.2 points

Not gonna lie, I am scratching my head a bit here. I know nothing about this kid besides his 247 rating (82). He seems to have the size they want and I'm sure Frost and Co have great intel of this kid since he's from Orlando. Hopefully he turns into a Chris Jones type player.2 points

Seems like lots of QB recruits love it here now. It seems like we get them a lot more easily than we did with our previous coaches. I get the feeling (among a bunch of other positives with Frost and his track record with QBs) that Verduzco might be one of those guys it’s really easy to get attached to. That’s the way it sounds when Martinez talks about him.2 points

So much for reasonable expectations in year two. Edit: I tried uploading a picture, but it didn't work. Anyways, Phil Steele has Nebraska playing Utah ... in the Rose Bowl. Edit 2: Figured it out. Picture is in.1 point

It didn't say in that particular article from what I've read previous it could likely either be Washington St. or Colorado. Already visited Arizona, Wisconsin, UCLA and us.1 point

Hey eye roller - you eye rolled me and not Knapp's post above that I was pointing to. I take offense to that Each eye roll is a badge of honor if it comes from a member of the Cult of Trump.1 point

Pelini was the best hire we could have made, and he was a damn good one. He was a Brent Venables esque perceived up and coming coordinator at the time, he was the opposite culturally of Callahan (fiery, hard nosed, old school, defensive lunch pail kind of guy) which is what new coaching hires usually are, and he liked and mostly understood/had experience with Nebraska. It was the right hire and it was a good hire.1 point
