  2. Meanwhile, nobody is talking about El Paso or Dayton anymore, and gun control is off the front page. So, win for Trump. Loss for the Press, and for America.

  3. Regardless of what times we find that he ran, I must say the production he had speaks for itself.. on top of that, does anyone really think Frost and Held are recruiting slow RB’s? I trust the numbers and the staff on this one

  12. Not to sound like a prick, but I’m going to be really happy when we finally get to the day when he’s no longer mentioned. Really not meaning to sound like a d bag, but I know it’ll come off that way, but to use Coach Chinander’s word of the day, the dude is/was a turd, a two parter where half sinks and the other floats.... we should just quit the Diaco references forever.

  16. Thanks. That's what I thought I'd read as well. I believe Dylan saw a little bit of playing time at Michigan last year and was pretty impressive, at least with his feet anyway. EDIT - Now I see why I remember Dylan. Had his best game against us last year, including a 56 yard pass.

  17. McCaffrey didn't start at QB at Valor Christian until his senior season of 2018. His brother Dylan was ahead of him in 2016, and is now at Michigan. Blake Stenstrom was ahead of him in 2017, and is now at Colorado. That's two Power 5 QB recruits ahead of him. I am sure Luke was doing plenty of QB work prior to 2018, but because he was so athletic, he primarily played WR and CB before his senior season.

  18. I don't envy making that decision. I think McCaffrey is probably the better option, especially because of where his ceiling is but Vedral has been so loyal to this staff that I think they'll have a hard time pushing him down the depth chart as well. And I do think Vedral would be a pretty solid backup it's just hard to pass up McCaffrey's athleticism.

  19. It's as good of a reason for a waiver as some the NCAA has approved recently. IDK if it's just sock BS or not though.

  20. I'm hearing that Schlager is going to request a NCAA waiver to play this year and not sit out a season--something about a recruiting bait-and-switch (read: the position coach and Defensive Coordinator that recruited him were replaced after Schlager signed) by the CSU Defensive coaching staff? Is this legit, or just some sock bulls***?

  21. good read http://erickarlan.com/remembranceproject.html Indeed the values and attitude of leaders throughout history are mirrored by the masses under their control. Standards of ideals and behaviors are elevated and lowered in accordance with their leadership. As students, we need to understand the precious and awesome responsibility we assume when we vote in elections. We are not just voting for individuals but often for a moral blueprint upon which a chapter of history will be written.

  22. You insist on missing the point. Trump was a verifiable a$$h@!e in 2016, with a long public history of immoral personal behavior, reckless business practices, bald-faced lies, social media addiction, and petty vendettas. He ran a campaign catering to the fears of white America, and it worked. He's the same a$$h@!e 63 million Americans already voted for. So why use the word "if"? The posts on Huskerboard are correct. And Trump could easily win again. That's just where we are.

  23. There's no reasonable reason we should keep mentioning Diaco, the strain is spectacular! Do you feel the strain?

  24. Yes. I think so far Frost's track record has been that kids he recruits end up climbing in the rankings by the time the class closes out. VS the Riley and Pelini era. It seemed like our kids dropped in the rankings as the year went on. Frost and his team can spot talent. Regardless of how the rankings view them at the time.

  25. The real radio broadcast is always ahead, but online broadcasts may actually be behind the TV broadcast. To answer the original questions, get the Huskers app for your smart phone. I use it all the time when I can't catch the game on TV. You can listen to the radio broadcast right from the app. That may be you best bet to sync up to your TV broadcast.

Except instead of hiding from foreign invaders, we are protecting ourselves from the incompetence of our own culture. It really, really sucks!

  31. Not confident at all. I'm reading the polls about all the Democrat candidates with double digit leads over Trump, and his supposedly eroding support among Republicans. And I still wouldn't bet on Trump losing. I think everyone's radar was broken in 2016. The problem is that most of the "info" on this board IS correct, and none of it is a shock anymore. America willingly elected a race-baiting nationalist and vindictive con man in 2016, and his core supporters have never wavered even as Trump got worse. Can't blame Fake News or Huskerboard bias. It's all right there in the President's Tweets. He's a sick f#&%ing man, but we're a sick f#&%ing country. Prove me wrong, America.

  32. Trump said more than just "I am the chosen one"....he said it specifically about taking on China in trade....yet "ironically" Mack didn't put it all in quotes. And why did David Mack choose to capitalize chosen one? Stephen Ross said in an interview that Trump might be the only one willing to take on China. So yeah.....only bits and pieces, including some out of context or lacking background info, are reported.

  33. A cult typically requires a leader claiming divine providence, the blind loyalty of followers and banishment of doubters, an exaggerated persecution complex, and surprisingly often, a flexible morality that allows the leader to have sex with lots of young women. So......yeah.

  34. The way I see it, if we lose to Iowa, they win the Division. However, it's the 375th Sellout, and we've only lost one milestone game during the streak, and that was to Colorado the year they won their National Championship *. I don't think Iowa is a National Championship caliber team this year, so they lose. Book it.

  35. I've got Iowa going 9-3 with losses to Michigan, Penn State & Nebraska. Minnesota I've got going 5-7, with losses to Fresno State, Purdue, Nebraska, Penn State, Iowa, Northwestern & Wiscy. I know the Fresno State pick is risky, but they're not dissimilar in talent, and it's in California.
