I'm starting to think none you actually have inside sources.

Does it seem to anyone else that special teams still isn't a top priority? In watching a decade of Big Ten football now that seems like a recipe to lose more close games than you win. Field position is critical more often than not. Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa all have full time special teams coordinators for reference.

We’re going no special teams this year. Go for it every 4th down and all 2 pt conversions. Leave the base D in on 4th down and no punt returners.

Personally I don't care about adding rumorville back. It was a mess of mostly nonsense and made an extra forum check when coaching changes were happening. People are just butt hurt because of their own expectations again. Suck it up. It wasn't like a bunch of random rumor threads popped up. Some coaching changes were up in the air and people reported possibilities in relevant threads that were already made. If we wanna make a special forum for Thurston to post in I'll sign that petition.

I want witnesses so we can find out why Hunter Biden was being paid by a foreign country who eventually got a huge aid package courtesy the American taxpayer. And the so called whistleblower to find out why they rewrote the rules to qualify him as a whistleblower. We need to know if these are just deep state individuals doing what they can to wreck the administration or part of a well-organized criminal conspiracy.

I sort of accepted most of the coaching speculation these past few weeks except I never could see or buy in to the Mickey Joseph talk. Sure he would’ve been a good addition but I just couldn’t get past the fact that his younger brother Vance went to CU. I mean if he couldn’t even talk his brother in to coming to Nebraska....and IIRC I think he may have even told him to not to go to Nebraska. Maybe I got it wrong but it’s always been in my mind that he wasn’t overly fond of the Huskers by the time his career was over here. Seems like a very big stretch he would’ve ever seriously considered a return to Lincoln.

Sorry Teach, but I have a problem with it. Because it's not fair to the teams who do follow those dumb a$$ rules. I have no idea whether UNL follows the rules or pays cash. (If we did pay cash, we sure didn't get our money's worth the past couple of years.)

Golden had a career in sacks coming off injury. Carter had a career high in sacks. Oshane had 4.5 sacks as a rookie. Actually, all of their OLBs had career highs in sacks.

I agree that you may not spend a third of practice time (depending on how you measure it) but we have lots of coaches and multiple stations and fields etc. I presume the staff is practicing offense, defense AND special teams at the same time thru most of their practices. With 150 players and roughly 4 deep across every position etc they sure should be working on many aspects simultaneously. Kickers should not kick for 2 hrs non-stop for overuse reasons (possibly why our kickers were hurt?) but meetings, film study, strategy and scheme study and more, all take time and serious focus. Special teams the past five years sure looks to have been more afterthought than priority to many.

Sooo....getting to the truth isn't your goal. Your goal is to do the minimum needed to make it look like you made an effort while making sure the Senate exonerates Trump.

I agree. But it is important to remember a lot of this was previously known and is being further corroborated by Parnas, not the other way around. For example, Trump's own Ambassador and star witness testified "everyone was in the loop," and the July 25th call memorandum (not a transcript) already implicated AG Barr (twice).
