  2. As a parent with a child who has a lifelong illness, I worry about the protections put into place with the ACA/Obamacare for pre-existing conditions. Trump has tried hard to eliminate those protections. When he mentioned his accomplishments in regards to health care, I know from my watching this topic intently, he was lying. Actions>Words.

  3. But they did impeach. Should read: "If they aquit, rip up that s**t" edit: it is what it is as far as the impeachment trial goes, everyone knew from day 1 what the outcome would be. I just get soooo tired of stupid people taking strong opinions on social media. I know my I have gaps in my knowledge so I try to be sure of things before I post; and even then will add some sort of disclaimer.

  4. “Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.”—Peter Gibbons

  7. They are on a fishing expedition, with no credible evidence as predicate. They will surely leak the most redacted smears without context. It is about to get really ugly. NOTE: The Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (Graham, Paul, Rubio, etc.) still has a on their website a FACT SHEET: DOD CERTIFIED THAT UKRAINE MET CORRUPTION BENCHMARKS.

  8. I just saw an ad for "Swimwear for Large Busts". That's a fantastic name for the product being sold.

  9. The accusations were/are real. They were acknowledged by many Senate Republicans. They just felt that they accusations didn't rise to the level of impeachment or were worth "dividing" (we already tragically are) the country. The President himself and his defense team have acknowledged the accusations. Where you been? I don't care if you side with Sen Collins or other GOP Senators. But to say the accusations were bogus is just factually wrong.

  11. Because innocent, non-corrupt people typically have their puppet AG's slap down EIGHT investigations into them.

  12. Yes it was. Doesn't make me feel too good though. That's for sure. You bombard some people with misinformation enough times and eventually they will believe it. The number of gullible, uneducated and generally stupid people in this country cannot be underestimated. I even know several "smart" people who are Trumpers. They're not immune from this either. The actual damage that social media is doing to this country also, cannot be underestimated. People just don't care about the truth and I just don't get it.

  13. https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/elections/presidential/caucus/2020/02/06/iowa-caucus-who-won-buttigieg-sanders-democrats-electon-2020/4667267002/ Pete officially wins Iowa..............for now..............but I'm guessing IF they do a recount he might win by a wider margin. I only say this as my brother works for his campaign and Pete's computer voting software worked better than the state's and showed a larger margin of victory based on the information their campaign received on Monday night which is why he declared victory.

  15. Senator Sasse must think we have sh!t for brains. Good God. Just admit you were scared like all the other GOPers. Romney is the only one in the whole Republican Senate with spine. I will admit, though, that I hold Senator Sassee in higher regard than Senator Fischer. I honestly believe she is pretty much clueless about everything.

  17. Scott III is one strong MF'r. The kid benches 400+ at 190 and hit a 390lb front squat. This kid is more then ready to come in and contribute physically.

  23. Trump is at some podium airing his grievances at being impeached. And this, this is so very true. And there are a lot of people in this country who feel perpetually aggrieved, regardless of their position or privilege in life, and those are the never-wavering foundation of Trump's support.

  28. After the first month those Clorox pop ups became less and less. Now it’s ads just intermittent on the screen. No a prob anymore. On my iPad, it’s scant. Whatever fixed it is fixed, I just don’t like seeing LSU, Alabama, grocery store pops anymore but I just scroll down. welcome to Cornhusker news with LSU hats for sale.

  29. Random Observation from today: Can you imagine being Ted Cruz (plz don't). Trump called him Lyin' Ted, said he's soft like a baby, said he has mental problems, called his wife ugly, and said his dad killed JFK and Ted is over here still kissing his ring. Surprised he can stand without a spine - what a cuck that guy is.

  33. Holy Crap. I usually view and post on HuskerBoard from my laptop. The ads are increasingly intrusive but you can usually track around them. But when I checked the board from my iPhone it was a total clusterfuk. Obscenely ad-driven, almost impossible to read and enjoy. Question: how much are the moderators getting paid from this revenue stream?

  35. I belong to several other forums, sports cars, off roading, model railroading and all of them seem to be making this type of change. Being bombarded by this crap gets old very quickly. Personally I really don't need to know some of the stuff on this board, have little interest in some of it, if any at all. I can find information in other places or just be more involved with Californian's for Nebraska. Have not been on their site for years, but may make the attempt. I don't post on this site that often any longer. Read the comments of a few posts once a week or so. This site is not something I need, and if Huskermax is worse, I certainly don't need it. I am old, not into twitter or face book. Really used to enjoy this site, but it has grown away from what it used to be. I hope it survives but have my doubts. At least I don't have to pay for this one.
