  2. That's why you listen to the medical experts. Masks are the key to this. Want football? Wear a mask. It's almost that simple.

  5. Oklahoma hasn't won a National Title in 20 years. Notre Dame hasn't won a National Title since 1988 Penn State hasn't won a National Title since 1989 - when they were still independant. Georgia hasn't won a National Title since 1980 Michigan hasn't won a National Title since 1948. All of them were bad until they got a good coach and then they weren't. Players go where the programs invest in them. Nebraska invests in the players as much as anyone. We will get talent. Gotta have a staff who can evaluate and coach it.

  6. It is like talking to a wall, remotely. Remote learning at the college level is done to make money, it makes sense. Hire an adjunct, give that person 4,000 dollars to teach a course, load them up with 3 sections of 25 students each...all who are paying 2,000 to take the class. Boom. Prof posts an assignment for each week...students belt it out and comment on 3 of their classmates work. On to the next week. It is effective because you are in college and you know what you are doing and you tend to have time/privacy Now, tell a 6 year old to sit in front of zoom for 40 minutes while they learn math...good luck with that! How about a 12 year old that is online with their class and their 10 year old brother is bugging them non-stop because well...that is what siblings do! Or hey, try and have a serious talk about big issues where people are freezing up (their connection) and others have s#!t sound or get bumped out of the zoom room. Or how about the 16 year old that has to babysit their little bro and sis WHILE trying to do class. Oh yeah, PE works really well over zoom... I don't mind teaching remotely because it made my life easier. But I don't think it was great for the kids.

  7. Haha I get what your saying. I’m the first to admit lots of dips#!ts out there. But you start walking a fine line of starting to think the government knows best in everything and we need them to help make decisions on how to live our lives. In case you haven’t missed it government is corrupt and dumber than the masses

  9. I really miss Jon Stewart. Sure he was a comedian who attacked the right far more than the left. But he was also a thinker. Someone who had a good mind and understood humanity. It seems like lots of these satirists were great thinkers. He makes a great point about how people who have experienced tragedy have a humility about them. To understand and empathize with others is something we should want in a leader. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any random tragedy that Trump has had to endure. While that is a great thing for him personally, it has handicapped his personality.

  13. Yes, most aid is quid pro quo for American interests, that's normal. But not individual political, corruption, election considerations. Unfortunate, indeed.

  18. Ok, but the medical experts don’t make the restrictive laws going on. I assume medical experts want everyone to wear masks. I just saw a deal in Oregon if you are white you have to wear a mask- if your anything other than white you don’t have to wear a mask to protect against racial profiling. If it is about being safe then what is that? That’s politics not medicine

  19. True that. Living in the nations number 1 hotspot for Covid growth our city council just voted down mask ordinance. Unreal. We are just going to ride it out I guess.

  20. This is why, once Democrats get back into power (hopefully) this Fall, we'll be all over them like white on rice. The lesser of two evils can still harbor plenty of evil. It's our job (the voters) to be vigilant about these gobs.

  21. True. Biden, according to that tweet, has a FAR better chance at being elected than Trump. If the election were today, Biden would have to win any one of the toss-up states, while Trump has to win all of them. That's not good, and it's downright bad for an incumbent. The polls have Biden up only low double-digits. This is a much, much worse picture for your orange god. What?

  22. I don't know who Kyle Kondick is but he shows the actual election odds are not very much like the polls. Especially now that the radical left has just gift wrapped Trump's 2020 Message in their own vandalized statues. More people will be harmed by rioters than police brutality in 2020. But people who already hate America used on of them as a pretext to burn it all down.

  24. As implemented on the fly with zero pre-planning last Spring, it was not successful in some places, or for some kids. And certainly kids and teachers would prefer to be in classrooms. But remote learning has worked the world over, and can work here, with proper planning and execution.

  25. No it isn't. In one scenario they completely made this whole thing up for the attention. In the other they thought something had been put in their drinks and then it was discovered later to have not been done on purpose. Kind of like the Nascar driver who found the "noose" in his garage.

  26. Pretty much anyone Biden picks will be more progressive than what I desire, however, in times like these - the most important thing is to remove Trump and to have a capable VP who can step in if needed due to Joe's aging issues. I am comfortable with both Harris and Warren being that person. Again, they may not fit my philosophical profile but I believe they can do the job if called upon. I'm not a big fan of Susan Rice but I'm sure she will be in a Biden Admin - probably Sec of State. Val Demmings is OK but I prefer more experience.

  33. Biden's lead has now eclipsed Obama's in '08 and '12 and is the largest since Clinton's blowout over Dole in '96. It's roughly double Clinton's advantage at this point in '16. Obviously there's far too much time left before November (can we just vote now?) but this is a cool chart and very encouraging. Also look at '72. Holy crap.

  38. But Miller wouldn’t be able to use the 4 game rule if he was forced to sit out this year as a transfer. That’s what BRB seems to be asking. The traditional transfer rule makes that player ineligible for a year, which he can use a redshirt season (if he still has one) or he loses a year of eligibility.

  39. American exceptionalism is dead. We have plenty of great people doing great things, but we have to admit that the system itself is less than special. There are now first, second, and third world countries who do the important stuff better than we do. We can't blame it all on a single President. But....uhm....he also represents everything wrong with us, and makes everything he touches worse.
