The less chaos part is important. The termed it "a more diplomatic approach to domestic/foreign policy" but what they meant was Trump has completely lost control of the machine. In particular, a healthy economy requires fully grappling with COVID-19. The economy can never fully rebound if we aren't doing everything we can to contain and mitigate the virus. Trump isn't capable of doing that.

One of the mostly ignored side-issues of the proposed NBA re-start is that without crowd noise and PA blather, the broadcasts will pick up everything the players are actually saying on court. And there are some serious trash-talkers out there. The kind of stuff that would cause a mere corporate CEO to lose his job. Could be good for ratings.

There'll be sports from other countries where they stopped the spread. In some totally mysterious, unreplicatable way that is most likely pure chance and not related to any conscious decision made by the citizens of those countries.

I'm really losing faith that we get a fall season and I have no idea what I am going to do with my life without football in the fall. That's like the only reason I like fall.

Basically, everyone is a libertarian till people start talking about the benefit they get from the government....then all of a sudden it gets switched to how justified it is. Fact is, we all benefit from the government....and all of us should work to not rely on the government.....but sometimes that's not possible..so you rely on the government....but that shouldn't stop you from trying to get away from relying on the government....and stop complaining when someone else needs to rely on the government like you're some kind of saint for not relying on the government because you do.

Our response to this virus has been a joke. Other countries are going to have sports this year. It's not likely we will - at least, not college football. And if there's no college football, how are other schools going to afford their other sports? And if those other schools don't play, Nebraska doesn't play, either.

Proud Boys has to be the world's worst name for any group. Also, they really need to stop saying "defund" because it doesn't mean what they are trying to say what it means and that is where problems come in to play, they are unclear with their wording. CHAZ had a "defunded" police force...and in 10 days there were shootings, a murder, sexual assault, theft, vandalism and it needed to be shut down. One of the guys shot was BEGGING for the police.

But the f#&%ing morons can't even mandate masks or recommend social distancing because they're playing a political game for re-election. We can't even get on the same page about the absolute bare minimum.

Dear lord yes. Some people act like the whole WR group was crap, but Spielman and Robinson were great. It going from Stanley Morgan to Kanawai Noa that really killed us. I don't know whether Manning or Betts will be the man, but I sure hope one of them steps up big for us.

In regards to the WR depth discussion as impacted by Nixon's injury...I kind of think Nixon would of been a 4 game RS guy. More of a depth guy for his first year. I like his highlights. He reminds me of Shane Swanson who was a good player. I think it's the way he runs& his build? Good all-around player and tough for his size. I think his impact would be in the slot or z spots which is in pretty good shape. So I think our WR group will be fine. In addition to those named earlier I think Falck could help out in a simliar role as Warner and he has experience. I like Brown as a playmaker to go along with Robinson. I am also curious to see what Nance can do as a play maker as I think he is very sudden. Will also be interesting to see how the addition of X spot guys like Manning&Betts helps this group. It's what was missing last year.

My guess is some jerk climate scientist time traveled back to 1912 to plant this to lend weight to the lie.

Both probably would have played this fall. Newsome more on ST but had been catching the coaches eyes. I think Nixon would have contributed a good amount. His versatility would’ve put him ahead of Fleming and Brown easily and honestly believe he’d be the biggest new WR contributor not named Manning

This seems like one of those times that being the richest country on Earth is actually part of the issue. We (not everyone) are scared to shut down again. But the purpose was to be a place where generations of Tulsans can come together regardless of financial condition (it is all free except the food of course) or status and enjoy with family, friends, and fellow Tulsans - thus the name The Gathering Place. The large 3 story castle like rope swing. bridge 'playset' had lumber from the actual Black Forest in Germany - it was built over there and reassembled in Tulsa. They used native sand stone throughout, the 'lodge' itself is a work of art. They shut down Riverside Drive for 2+ years - built tunnels for the rebuilt Riverside Drive so that the park could be extended over Riverside Drive to the River Park area (a 12 mile long park which connects to city wide bike trails) and its trails and they also created all of the basketball, roller blade park and tennis courts on that side as well. The 2019 spring floods did flood some of the courts but stayed out of the main part of the park. The park opened in Oct 2018, had the flood in 2019 and was shut for a while, and then was shut for covid.

Fair enough. My point was more about the other guys than Kade. If we had the higher ranked kids play smart, with leadership, Kade wouldn't see 75% of snaps but we don't. My issue is more with the overall quality of the team, I just didn't phrase it well. Getting tired of the offseason but I'm afraid it is going to continue all the way into 2021.
