I actually met Gene Simmons once. It turned out to be just as strange as you could imagine. It was a private party for Kiss and Aerosmith at a bar that just so happened to be owned by a friend of ours and this was years ago. He called and said if you want to meet Kiss and Aerosmith get over here fast. I wasn't doing anything that night and so I went. So I'm there having drinks which were on the house which was cool. An hour and a half goes by and neither bands are there. Suddenly there is a big commotion and you could tell they were showing up. I was feeling pretty good at this point. Shortly after my friend taps me on the shoulder and says hey man meet Gene Simmons. I turn around and I am standing face to face with the God of Thunder. I just said hi (I think) and he leans over and whispers in my ear 'I'd like you a lot more if you were a girl'.... He later went on to very very publicly hit on everything that moved in the bar. It was weird actually. I loved Kiss growing up. Yeah. That's my Gene Simmons story.

I agree. Those kids play ball. Maybe get it and maybe spread it. They don’t play ball. Maybe still get it through normal socializing and interaction and maybe spread it. This thing appears to be spreading around the world regardless of preventative measures taken. Outside of a total lockdown nothing else seems to fully stop this. So either lock it down, or accept its going to spread and do your best with masks etc and proceed ahead with life

Yep, it's strange. We went to Denver for a graduation party (wife's cousin's kid) and that was also pretty much a first since this all started. I couldn't bring myself to eat any of their food as I wasn't sure who had handled or breathed on it etc. Needless to say I was hungry by the time it was over. So we hit up one of our favorite places on the way home and I had 2 of my favorites, Fried mushrooms and liver and onions. My wife won't allow liver to be cooked in our house but I gotta have it once in a while. BTW, I wore cargo shorts

You're citing a lot of statistics that don't really say anything. According to other statistics posted, 73.6% isn't a lot over normal occupancy. There could have been almost four times the amount of COVID patients as there currently are before reaching full occupancy. I don't think your argument is nearly as strong as you'd like it to be.

Why is it that big burly redneck types are the biggest p#ssies when it comes to wearing masks? Today was the first day of statewide mandatory masks in Colorado. I had to make a quick trip to Sam’s. As I was walking out this rather large knuckle dragging mouth breather in front of me just couldn’t handle keeping his mask on for another 20 seconds to get out the door. He rips it off, practically in tears and has his daughter feel his face (it must’ve been sweating a bit), then he barks at his wife to take hers off. They only had to do the receipt check at the door thing left but mr. tough guy just couldn’t take it anymore. Talk about snowflakes. And actually my question was rhetorical. I know why knuckle dragging mouth breathing Trump supporters are the ones that can’t handle social responsibility.

Unless he gets fired, I don't think he's leaving FSU for a while. Every other move has been a step up. He's from Florida originally and now he's at (arguably) the top job in his home state. This past year was just the third time FSU has hired a new head coach since 1976. I think he probably kind of liked Oregon, but it's not often the Seminoles have an opening.
