I might be in the minority but that game gave me hope. That was a legit top ten team and we were right there with them. One fumble at the worst possible time and a bad decision to not take the 3 points on our first drive. Those two things were the difference. The offense and play calling in the first half were not ideal and we got hosed by the officials every time we turned around. It hurts but we are so close to flipping the script on so many of these close losses. I don’t know when we’ll make it over that last hurdle but for the first time in a long time we can play with anybody on our schedule. Thats not claiming any kind of a moral victory but it is a fact. We are on the doorstep.

Are you on crack? We aren’t in any of these games without him. Fine, you want to get rid of his untimely turnovers and sacks, you also have to get rid of everything he does to keep us in these games. He’s the best we have by a mile and probably will be next year also if he returns. Yeah it hurts to lose games the way we do but we’re getting blown out without him.

Probably gonna take a break from the board till at least Wednesday... we've now taken 3 top 10 teams down to the wire with a chance to win all three in the final minutes. It sucks we didn't get the.. but I don't want to put up with all the low IQers who don't want to acknowledge the progress this team has made and want to start from scratch again with another Callahan or Riley. Loses liek this hurt. But not as bad as the blowouts and lack of fight we saw in all those teams. We are getting there.

Win or lose - Adrian Martinez brilliance & missteps aside... This team as a whole as grown a whole lot since Week 1. Win or lose - I'm proud of these Cornhuskers tonight.

When you literally have the toughest schedule in FBS and lose 3 games to soon to be top 10 teams by a score each, and have 2 more potential top 5 teams to play.

Anybody calling for Frost to be fired needs to STFU. You apparently have no idea where this program has been and can’t discern obvious improvement. Real brainiac move to start over again at this point when things are so close. You want to give up and walk away, fine, good actually, but don’t contribute to setting the program back again.

We learned the Big 10 has the worse officials. They are a joke..... On the play prior to the "fumble", Davidson mentioned they were late in blowing whistles to giving Michigan a chance to strip the ball. With all the bulls#!t about protecting QB's, Martinez seemed to lose the ball when a Michigan defender went after Martinez's leg.

I see great progress. Frost’s demeanor changed after the Michigan state game. You can tell he is sick of losing and for the first time in a very long time, I really feel we are very close to turning that corner. The only problem is that the corner seems to be never ending. I am sure we are all sick to our stomachs with moral victories but no one can deny that this team is making great strides and making progress. Both Frost and his team need to learn how to win these games especially when you have the ball in your hands with a chance to go down the field and win.

Iowa’s defense is a turnover causing machine. We have a player that has led the nation in TOs for the last 2 years. Do the math.

Adrian Martinez is the biggest Greek tragedy in NU history. I love the guy, but it's amazing how bad s#!t happens to him all the time.

It's so funny.. I used to be the guy... yeah the refs are screwing us, but our team is playing like s#!te too.... not the case tonight... our 2nd and 3rd drives were derailed by mystical penalties. Smirking refs flag defense for delay of game??? Refs try to give Mich a td 2 times before irrelefutable evidence overturns both... and the final td of the half gifted by a bs pass interference and a missed delay of game call... our team is playing fine. The damn refs are earning their Mich paycheck.

Whining about the refs is lame. Yes Adrian screwed up but we aren't in the game without him so whining about him being the worst thing ever is lame also. Pretty much I hate whining. That was a damn good team we played, they made more plays. Tip your cap and move on.
