lol, dude, can you at least wait until after we find out who the coaches are to lose your s#!t over it. For f#&%s sake, some of you guys have the patience and temperament like my 3 year old, and some posters even worse. Writing off the decisions before we even know who the hires are and expressing such a level of frustration when we dont know s#!t is somehow comical, worrisome, and amusing to me all at the same time.

We have been in this situation before with Joseph. If you didn't know he really wants to stay in Louisiana, you haven't been paying attention. That doesn't mean it's bad that Frost wants to go after him. But, you can't be surprised if he stays too...especially when LSU is going to fork out a ton of money for assistants. That also doesn't mean there isn't other WR coaches out there that are good. Reading this thread makes me wonder how some people handle stress in their own lives.

Sam dropping a nugget on his podcast that we may get a OL/OC combo coach and Frost takes over coaching QBs. That would allow Beckton to stay at only TE, and us to hire a RB, WR, and ST coach.

Was so much fun to watch this year. Really was consistent, made some great catches and had some great blocks too.

I'm starting to think a lot of people take their real-life issues out on the team/coaches/etc. here on HB. I guess you can only whisper-scream in your basement so much lol

My man Brian Kelly was recruiting up until the second he signed on the dotted line. Don't get me wrong, every hour that goes by with Joseph not being here makes it clearer and clearer he won't, but this proves nothing. He is doing a job he is currently being paid to do.

So the rumor here in the Baton Rouge area is that Mickey Joseph told admins that some current recruits would not stay committed if he's not retained. Not sure if there's any validity to these claims, but I do know for a fact that last night he was still out recruiting for LSU because the #1 WR in Louisiana plays for my school and he did an in-home visit last night. Apparently Brian Kelly hasn't decided who he's going to retain, but LSU needs a New Orleans connection so the feeling is that Kelly will want to retain him. Kelly said he hasn't made those decisions yet, which is why we're waiting in limbo. I also emailed the kid's dad to see if Mickey mentioned that he was leaving for Nebraska, but haven't received a reply yet.

Sorry I’m done with excuses and halfass bs. Win 8+ with next year's schedule or GTFO. I don’t care who/what they’re losing or that half the staff may be new. He doesn’t get to act like he’s starting from 3-9. This was the year 6 or 7 wins would’ve been the minimum acceptable. It was just by freak luck and a miracle that he even got another year. 8 or more in 2022.

Martinez being banged up is a by-product of having him run so often, along with the porous offensive line. Smothers was able to run so much option against Iowa because there was no "next game" to worry about.

I disagree. If his name wasn't "Scott Frost" he would've been canned like tuna on Monday. And if he doesn't make the right offseason moves to fix his embarrassing special teams problems that lost him at minimum 3 games this year he will in my opinion go into the books as not only being worse than Riley but also being one of the worst Husker coaches of all time. A few guys having a chance at the NFL doesn't make me feel any better about going 4-8, 5-7, 3-5, 3-9.

then we get the joy of him going 7-5 and we fire a coach that won more than he lost. I can already see it now....

It's way easier to blame the offensive line, because if you blame the offensive line nobody is going to get up in arms about it. They're just sort of nameless, faceless people you can refer to generically as "the offensive line". Blame the QB for his own mistakes and whoa buddy a lot of people who like to live vicariously through a college football player are going to take it very personally. You'll never catch anyone blaming the QB for the mistakes of an offensive lineman, but people constantly blame linemen for the mistakes of a QB.

How damn many years has it been since we've actually had to worry about that. There are several NFL picks on this team.....and damn even a first team all B1G player It's been slower than any of us hoped, but Frost is improving this thing. So no, "Scotty" not gone......

Nobody is saying 2AM was perfect and without flaws. But, our O line stunk and just looking at their grades from experts proves that. Another stat is that our QB was the most hurried and most sacked QB in the league and he's one of the most athletic. That isn't just because he's holding onto the ball too long.

Reading these posts is like comedy central.

Our kick off returns were 124th and our punt returns were 127th in the country. Our kick return defense was 112th and out punt return defense was 86th in the country. It was a team wide problem.

This is pretty good for the offenses they went against. It also shows how desperately we need to fix special teams and the O line.
