  1. Oh please... you might want to do a little research on what has happened to their air defense since our assistance dried up and how they are bombing complete villages. Sorry to disappoint you about your party of Putin.

  2. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2024/04/17/deion-sanders-matt-rhule-colorado-nebraska-football-recruiting-visits/73328679007/ The reporter was really slick and tried to get Coach Rhule to say something negative about Deion and his recruiting practices. Rhule didn't take the bait.

  5. You guys are going to believe this... BREAKING NEWS: The election fraud conspiracy theorists finally found real election fraud...and it was one of them. MAGA freedom caucus leader and Turning Point USA exec Austin Smith surrenders to the fraud allegations against him and quits his race for the legislature. Austin was accused of having over one hundred fake signatures on his nomination petitions, and he was personally the circulator for those petitions. At least two people signed sworn affidavits saying they did not sign Smith's petition, yet their names and fake signatures were on it. Many signatures looked the same and were strikingly similar to Austin's handwriting. It was egregious. Smith quit rather than defend himself, which is basically an admission of guilt. Why else would he surrender rather than fight. Turning Point and the MAGA faithful would have provided more than enough money to hire the best defense attorney available. This election fraud must be investigated and prosecuted. Hopefully, Secretary of State @Adrian_Fontes will make a criminal referral to @AZAGMayes to investigate what appears to be blatant fraud on our elections. I look forward to all of the MAGA election deniers calling for an investigation.

  9. Being a bit dramatic on the QB rushing. We had 847 combined rushing yards from the 3 QBs and had 1300 yards combined from the RBs and WRs. HH led the team with 477 yards on 120 carries while Grant had 413 yards on 104 carries and EJ had 411 yards on 90 carries. Grant and EJ's combined had almost as many rushing yards as all 3 QBs.

  11. I Read that entire article word for word and I did not see anywhere that Johnson claimed the three amigos WERE NOT and axis of evil or good fit the US etc… So your article had nothing to do with my questioning your point on what changed when Johnson said those countries were an axis of evil.

  12. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/johnson-signals-wont-put-senate-supplemental-floor-increased-pressure-rcna147747 For 3 months, he has been playing a game of bait and switch with border security being tied to it....then he didn't want border security tied to it. Then he didn't want a stand alone border security bill because Trump told him not to....bla bla bla.... He's been pressured by people like Trump, MTG and Gaetz to not pass Ukraine aid and he's been obviously listening to them. Now....all of a sudden he's singing an different tune.

  13. 2nd in rushing from QB play not anything from RBs. Ervin is average when healthy (he never is) Johnson is totally average when healthy and hasn’t done anything lately EJ is good but I think he is just being compared to below average running backs Ives has done nothing & so has Dante. Not to say they can’t produce but this is the great unknown. there is a lot of IFs. I think talent wise we will be average to below average in the conference. Which is not great considering we will have to get rushing yards from the backs this year and not QB play.

  14. Have you heard him say different in the past? If so could you post those please. I haven’t heard it. Thanks in advance

  15. Our RB room isn't as bad as what some think. RJ and EJ have proven to be serviceable and could actually be every down guys if needed. Ervin just needs to catch a break and stay healthy. Ives and Dante are young but have TONS of potential and just need some game reps. We essentially have everyone back from last year minus Grant and we were 2nd in the B1G in rushing.

  17. Happy five-year anniversary of the release of the Mueller report, and this ringing endorsement of Orange Man Bad's virtue: "As set forth in our report, after that investigation, if we had confidence that the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the President did commit a crime."

  20. White said Rhule didn't think the defense's play in the scrimmage Saturday was good enough. White said the offense is providing more of a challenge in how it runs the ball. Also noted improved QB play: "You're having to defend so much more."

  21. Lots of praise for Blye Hill from White today. Definitely sounds like he in the top group for the other CB spot.

  22. Rhule learned last year that even vague, tangential statements will be used by Colorado as rage fuel, so he made a point not to give the reporter anything. The whole gist of the article is manipulative. It was pretty obvious the reporter was trying to drum up controversy.

  23. Yes it is. But the special school for the troubled only serves to separate them from the other kids. I don’t think there is any great rehabilitation going on there. The dropout rate is extremely high and they have a very high level of continuing discipline problems, stabbings etc. I’m sorry but high school is too late to be turning these kids around. Lack of proper parenting has doomed them. JMO but I would guess it really helps fewer than 5% that get banished there.

  24. No s#!t! You don't do your job or talk s#!t and you get fired. I'm strongly considering calling out executives at my company face to face in a town hall because of how they've trashed the company, but I would fully expect to be fired for that.

  27. I was really hoping to see the faintest whisper of smoke around Damien Martinez from Oregon State possibly considering Nebraska but that appears to be no dice. Dude would've been the ideal smashmouth RB we hope Dowdell becomes. I simultaneously think we're one RB short while also hoping Ervin/RJ/EJ and co make the leap.

  32. Even by that logic, naw man. If Deion was smart, he'd leverage a year or two of quality play at Colorado for a real school, in a real conference, where you get paid real money, but he aint doing that because he'd rather sit at home acting like he's playing fantasy football instead of being a real football coach. He just sitting there buying and selling guys like he don't even know them.

  34. Oh I imagine he'll have to bear the brunt of some incoherent rage posts on Truth Social once the sedatives wear off and Don Van Winkle comes to. As to what changed? First, this hasn't hit Biden's desk yet and second, I'm guessing the GOP has seen some pretty horrible internal polls recently.

  38. It seems to me that you have grabbed the worst possible strain of narcissistic leftist agitator to represent everyone who would protest on behalf of Palestine. That allowed you to ignore the points I was making and common positions I was conceding. There was a revolutionary Marxist contingent in the Vietnam and Civil War protests, too, and they did hinder the larger movement to some extent. But they were also the folks at the ramparts who forced the conversation, and allowed the more moderate to make the stance more reasonable and ultimately mainstream. i.e. you were an idiot to have a poster of Mao in your room, but you weren't wrong about the Domino Theory. Martin Luther King benefitted from having Malcom X and the Black Panthers to his extreme left. Sounds like you don't think the conversation has shifted on Gaza, nor should it. But a disturbing common thread to Gaza, Vietnam and the Civil Rights era are the bystanders in the middle, often women and children, being killed in pretty horrific ways while people debate whether trying to stop those deaths is political posturing. If you know your history you obviously know Netanyahu's history, and why it's lazy, unserious and dangerous to support him unequivocally. It's an easy but false equivalency to think that equates to supporting Hamas. Israel itself is divided on what should happen next. If you don't think protesting college kids really care about the people of Gaza, you have at least one thing in common with them. Of course we can agree to disagree, but I still find it a worthy conversation, even with all the laughy emojis I'm getting. There's also a distinct possibility that we agree: the worst possible strain of narcissistic leftist agitator is really irritating. Now let's join hands and solve the Middle East!
