  1. hey its just what i heard from Arkansas insider (graduate assistant on the team)
  2. Bo Pelini is in serious talks to become the new head coach at Arkansas. They are negiotiating a contract as we speak, but nothing is official as of right now. Stay tuned If he does leave, who would you like as the next coach? This story has been debunked several times, several ways. Thread title changed. knapplc
  3. I had a good conversation with Keegan's uncle, and he stated the Keegan is in the running for starting tight end next year. Paul Rhoads says that he is the best tight end he has every coached. Take it for what its worth Take care husker fans
  4. I just got word from Mackensie's High School coach that he has accepted an offer to the Huskers. It looks like ESPN hasn't updated his profile, but hopefully they will soon. This is a huge get for the program, as he is the 6th best player in the 2013 class according to ESPN. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/144713/mackensie-alexander
  5. hey everyone. I just wanted to give you guys an update on Keegan Schaub. Keegan is redshirting this year for the cyclones and is the future at tight-end. Paul Rhoads has stated many times that he has been very impressive during practice.
  6. Keegan Schaub a 2012 TE from West Des Moines, Iowa has committed to Iowa State. Sad day for us, he has a lot of potential.
  7. Yes Nebraska offered him Saturday the 23rd. He was on campus on the 30th
  8. Just got off the phone with Keegan Schaub. Keegan recently visited on Saturday the 30th. He is a 2012 tight end prospect from West Des Moines, IA. Standing at 6'3 240 pounds, Keegan is an up and coming prospect. He said he was very satisfied with the visit and was close to commiting. He picked up two more offers this last week so he thought it would be good to keep his options open. Washington State and Iowa State were the offers.
  9. I hope some cyclone fan doesn't get on here and start talking about basketball. All they talk about is basketball now. They do have a really good team coming in but still no excuses for chaning the subject
  10. Mike would be a huge get for the program. Fits the style of the Big 10. Anyone heard if we are still on Adam Woodbury's list. He is Mike Gessel's teamate and would be HUGE for us.
  11. I always looked forward to playing Iowa State every year. Now that we don't play them in the near future what are your feelings? They have had our number the last few years(Lucky to escape with a win last year)and the games always were always close. Sad to see this rivalry go!
  12. Husker fans, my goal was not to upset you guys by posting this. My goal was to share factual information to all the Husker Fanatics. My name is Nate Smith and I am friends with Keegan's uncle. The other day at lunch we got to talking about family. He mentioned that his nephew was a tight end for WDM Valley and he mentioned that he was receiving interest from your school. I just wanted to share this with you guys and see what your opinion is. Thanks guys
  13. Keegan Schaub, a 2012 tight end from West Des Moines, Iowa is set to visit Nebraska Saturday July 30th. He is very raw, but he has shown that he can compete at the highest level. Last year as a Junior at West Des Moines Valley High School, Keegan recored 34 receptions for 356 yards and 5 touchdowns. He has been receiving interest from Nebraska, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, UTEP, and Washington State. No offers are on the table as of yet, but his coach said that Nebraska and Iowa State are close to offering. He possesses a strong frame and good footwork. Look for him to have a breakout Senior Year.
