    On a quick WR screen, it is prudent to delay long enough for the CB to get a good bearing on your WR before you throw the ball.

    On another note, Best Buy has Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 for Xbox $29.99 each, in case you're shopping for the kids.

    Not sure when the wheels fell off the wagon. Was it the Callahan years that stole their desire? Pelini and his antics? Eichorst? Not the same NU program I grew up with in the 80's and the 90's, for sure.

    Man, what did they talk about at halftime? What kind of milk and cookies they want? These guys are horrible. How sad for the NU program. Why not pull all the starters and put kids in that at least want to try?

    On 1st and 2nd, Iowa is loading the box with 8 to stop our very regular zone-read run plays. On 3rd they're bringing 5 and sitting in a zone to stop the pass. Very vanilla, but definitely working against this offense.

    What game are you watching? None of his passes have been very accurate. Several should have been easy catch and runs, but he's either over-thrown or just missed completely. That's the difference in the game.

    Part of TA's game was to roll out of the pocket and make plays happen. He isn't very mobile so they are sitting back in a zone and making him throw accurate passes, which he has never been able to do. Without a mobile TA, NU isn't going to get it done.

    We've wasted 4 years of excellent receivers on TA. Too bad. This offense could have been something really nice.

    D-line getting pushed 2 yds off the line every play. Can't win like that.

    TA is what, 3/12 and has maybe 15yds rushing. Can it get any worse by putting in a back-up?

    Yep. Only works with a mobile QB of which TA currently isn't.
