The main reason I started coming to Huskerboard was to keep up on Husker football and potentially get "inside info" on things. Obviously right now, there isn't much going on, so people mainly bicker back and forth about things that don't matter.

Now obviously in a few weeks we will find a reason to be optimistic or pessimistic about this class and will either call it best/worst ever without any true privilege to the most important details... Yes. Realistically, this class should get to 25, and it is unlikely Nebraska get anyone committed in December. That means they need 10 guys in January. The most needed positions, safety, DL, and OT, are in the ditch recruiting-wise.

4 interceptions and 2 of them not his fault. Receivers need to hang on. A 3rd might not have been his fault. Almost looked like Westy turned the wrong way and the DB knew the route. With as porous as our O line is I thought Fyfe did well for a first start.

I dont think he was bad at all. He does a lotof things better than tommy. Playcalling and the wrs didnt help him much.

29-48 for 407yds, 4 tds and 4 ints(two of which werent his fault) in your first start ever isnt that bad...

I agree. The disappearance of Wilbon is baffling. I never bought the whole "pass blocking" excuse. Still don't. I agree with some comments here, there's more to it. It just sucks not to have our best runner running the football.

Agreed HuskerShark. Riley needs to show he is willing to make necessary changes, friendships be damned. Banker and Read have to be cut lose, and IMO Langsdorf cannot continue as OC, maybe QB coach but not calling plays. If these things don't happen, then MR can hit the door too.

As far as Langsdorf is concerned, like everyone else, I want a better concentration on the running game from him. I think he's coming along in that regard, but I think he's good. He called a good game Saturday, and if the receivers catch even half of the ones they dropped, we win and many are probably applauding DLang again for calling a great game.
