If we're going to keep asking Haarberg to pass then we need to do more bootlegs and cut the field in half. He just can't see the whole field on straight drop back passes, and it is COSTING US. Roll him out, give hime two reads, and if they're not there run or throw it away!

With the wind we need to really lean into the running game today, even if we have to punt. Play the field position game.

I believe the plan as of right is that the new South Stadium will have a multiple-level grandstand and will have the students and band in their own section near the field level. This will allow them to stand the whole game without bothering older season ticket holders.The students will apparently also have their own back concourse area where they can gather and mingle.

Knapp, I actually agree with you and also with those that agreed with your statement. It is a nonsensical comment on my part. I do realize we are never going back to the Big 12. I just made the comment offhand based more on how I feel right now rather then reality. These beatdowns on national television are getting old, and it might get worse once the four teams from the Pac-12 join the conference next year. My mind just wandered to the thought of what it would be like for Nebraska to be back in the Big 12 right now, even if it's not the same Big 12, and to just play against teams closer to our region. Never thought I would say it, but here it goes... If the Big 12 wanted Nebraska back, Nebraska should accept that invitation immediately. I'll say it...I'm tired of being in the Big Ten. We don't belong. I could care less about the millions in money we're getting from the Big Ten. I don't give a rip about being in a future conference where we're associated with the "big brands." At this point I would rather we play in the Big 12 with a few of our old Big 8 teams win or lose and just enjoy our fall weekends again and maybe find a way to win 6-7 games a season.

THINGS I LIKED: Defense played their tails off, and this game would have been different if we didn't turn the ball over in the first half. Husker fans showed up (as usual). It's too bad the team didn't. THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE: The entire offesive scheme. Our only points in two games have come off a trick play, a long QB run, and a TD with :01 second left. QB Jeff Sims. He is a turnover machine. Unfortunately, the truth is he should have been benched starting the 2nd half. (If as the head coach you have said in press conferences that you can't trust someone that turns the ball over, that has to apply across the board whether it's your running back or starting QB). He has turned the ball over multiple ways; (INTS, Fumbles, QB-Center-Snap exchanges, and even simple handoffs to the running back) This defense can't hold up without having some kind of offense to keep the ball away from the other team. HOT TAKE: I still LOVE playing Colorado, and I had more energy and passion leading up to this game than I ever have for any Big Ten opponent we've played over the last decade. I really miss playing our old Big 8 foes EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. While extremely well done, and entertaining, I don't want to see any more hype videos from Nebraska's media deparment until Nebraska actually makes a bowl game.

I think it's literally impossible for Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt to pronounce any player's name correctly.

At this point if the Big Ten decided to kick Nebraska back to the Big 12 I would actually understand. We have fallen so far as a program it's just sad.

I honestly don't think they gave up. The defense is gassed. Between the altitude and then our offense who can't maintain possession of the football...it adds up.

Kudos to the defense today, they fought their tails off, but the offense has failed this team for two straight games.

The thing with Sims is the turnovers are all over the place: Interceptions Fumbles QB-Center-Snap exchanges Snapping the ball before the motion man clears. Simple direct handoffs to the running back. Sims MUST be benched. It's as simple as that.

Sims has to be benched and the entire offense needs to be reevaulated for the rest of the season for whoever they decide to replace him with.

The South Carolina fans were right. They were so happy when he left...now we know why.

You can just feel it, and see it. Colorado has ALL the momentum now, and Nebraska just returning back into their weak shell.

I hate to say it, but it feels like this game is close to being over.
